September 2, 2009 Faction changes was introduced. From that same day you could have Horde and Alliance characters on the same realm. So yes it was in Wrath originally.
i like playing on RPPVP servers, i only want to play on RPPVP, where am i meant to go with this?
Relax. I expect them to put all RP-Players from Hydraxian Waterlords, Zandalar Tribe and Celebras on one new rp server. That’s the most blizzard-like thing that will happen and it also makes sense, since every single RP-Server will be closed.
View it in a positive light: There’s no reason to split up the small like-minded niche rp community of classic wow 
That would be common sense and quite nice… but somehow I still doubt it and I just can hope for it.
You are not going far enough with this. Doesn’t make sense to keep Patchwerk alive. The realm will die out as soon as the rest of the 300 active Alliance players will leave (and therefore Horde too) in the coming months. You should close more realms in order to make it clearer where those who have to leave will end up.

Doing RP doesn’t mean you have to spend hours sharing epic stories with every player you encounter. Nor that you have to slow/rp-walk in the world wide… It’s much more complexe than that!
It’s about embracing your char, behaving like him, exchanging with others as if it was real and authentic. I have several high level chars on ZT and my personality changes according to which one I play with.
For the people who will say : « but i never saw any rp event… etc »
Yeah ! That’s the point. The whole server is the event ! You just need to ride with it. It’s not about talking with words. It’s about acting: walk, sing, chicken dance when you loot all corps on the ground. People use « /me » to describe interractions with others more than they use « /say » to talk.
Just thinking about transfering and being force to change my chars names and identities is breaking my heart.
But your character can stay the same on a new bigger rp server. The only thing that will maybe change is your name, but if you and your friends play on the same server, then you’ll forget fast about that I guess.
Which bigger? All three european RP servers are on the list.
It will never be the same for a simple reason: PVE, PVP and RP are 3 different ways to play.
And there is nothing wrong about any of them. It is a simple question of taste.
ps. Where did they announce a new rp server? Did I miss something?
What about realms like Ashbringer? Still profitable to wait for the players to pay 25€ per character and transfer from there? I’m sorry, but you make it really hard for people to be on your side, whenever it’s blatantly evident that you go out of your way to milk the playerbase so harshly.
I’m not even surprised, because it’s just more of the same…
We waited months for a clear change, we get something that barely even changes anything.
I would even argue that RP-PVP is a 4th way to play.
I mean every single rp server is deleted. There’s no way there won’t be a new one… Would be sad for the rp-community, if they got rid of them. I was expecting them to merge all dead servers of the same type, but rp-pvp and rp-pve should be one realm imo. Would be funny if it’s called “argent dawn”

For amnennar we don’t want go on Firemaw but at least a big French server (french on firemaw can come back after) alllow us to transfer on Sulfuron
A reminder for you to please update that list of servers and include Amnennar, Razorgore, Gehennas(A), Earthshaker(H), Ashbringer, Mograine(A), Golemagg(A) & Mandokir
Why this dying servers weren’t allowed too ?
Check on realm we can’t make any dungeon or anything else in day (2 heroic / day for all realm)
Remember, that is FROM those servers. Not to them.
