And it happened yet again :grimacing:, to my dismay I discovered that I was 2 days too late to reply and that the other new thread had been closed for further replies, falling to the 1 month rule, this is stating to annoy me.

But again, will try to keep more tack on time in the future.

The Poetry Appreciation Society is a poetry club run by Bertel Wobblespring, who every second Friday of each month hosts a meeting, open for all to participate in.

The purpose of these meetings are to give everyone who might have interest in poetry a chance to share their passion.

Just show up to one of the meetings, leave a comment in this thread, or send an in-game mail to Bertel with a sample of your work.

In case you are unable to attend the meeting but still want your poem presented Bertel will gladly recite it for you if you send a copy of it to him in beforehand.

Everyone is welcome, even if just to spectate and listen.

From the first meeting:

Come to the first ever meeting in the new started Stormwind Poetry Appreciation Society, and share your poems and songs or just show your support and sit in to spectate and listen.

Everything is acceptable, be it your favorite poem or your own song.

OOC details: Just show up or send an in-game mail to Bertel or Rainiko with a sample of your work.

Place: At the back of Mage District in Stormwind at the pond.

Time: Thursday 8/5 20.00 (8.00 Pm) sever time.

I have decided that from now on every second month the poetry meeting will move to Dalaran, though still being held in Stormwind as usual in the months between, and as a brand new thing there will also be a Horde specific meeting, held in Thunder Bluff, on third Friday of the months where the meeting is otherwise hosted in Stormwind Alliance side, to give Horde people equal opportunities for sharing their passion for poetry.

And as a whole new thing whenever the meeting is held in Stormwind the following Friday, a meeting will be hosted in Thunder Bluff as well, at the bonfire circle in front of Baine Bloodhoof’s hut, Middle Rise of Thunder Bluff, to give Horde people equal opportunities for sharing their passion for poetry. This meeting will be hosted by Rainiko.

Due to current sharding issues in Stormwind.

I am really sorry about having to do this, maybe if I had acted earlier it would have been viable to relocate, and postponing isn’t really a viable solution either, as no one knows for sure when Blizzard will turn off sharding again. :frowning_face:

I apologize for the late notice, but I was just notified that the original location I was given isn’t useable anyway, due to NPC activity, instead it will be hosted by the stage area (purple spot in bellow linked to map) of the Argent Tournament Gounds:

Details will be revealed very soon, within a week, but the big news basically is as follows:

That Horde people will now gain equal opportunities for sharing their passion for poetry.

Meaning that those months where Bertel hosts the meeting in Stormwind, the following Friday another poetry meeting will be hosted in Thunderbluff.

And the first of these meetings, as next month it is time for a Stormwind meeting Friday 13th og October, will then be the following Friday, the 20th of October, in Thunder Bluff, hosted by the Dractyr Rainiko “Rain” (who IC’ly contacted Bertel with this suggestion, and OOC’ly is played by a freind of mine).

(and the second of these new Thunderbluff poetry meetings will then be Friday the 15th of December)
