Which is why Saurfang stayed while all others ran from Lordaeron, Hordes fight to death, that’s where “Victory or death” is from, using it to justify war crimes is puny.

Don’t you think “traitor”, if we are to believe he is one, is a reasonable badge of honour given that first Saurfang, now Baine, and perhaps more to come all betray – her – specifically and continue to vouch for the Horde afterwards? That’s because again a Warchief and the Horde aren’t the same.

That’s not Horde then, setting a tree on fire and burning civilians, then raising your own soldiers as undead and burning your own city is not Horde, that’s forsaken. If you wanna fight for forsaken do go on, but forsaken have one goal, and that goal has been clear for a long time. Not even forsaken, Scourge.

This is a game, if everyone were the same, it’d be boring.

The Orcs have their way of Honor, and the Trolls, Tauren and Blood elves have theirs. But they still generally follow the ‘‘Victory or Death’’ thing, except maybe the blood elves.

Horde is very much about honor. It’s doesn’t go “Blood and sticking together” … And even if you are all about sticking together, if you got real bond with someone you will step up and act when they are doing wrong. You can do it when you are really sticking together and it’s not being a traitor it’s about being a very good friend. Following someone mindlessly no matter what crazy stuff they pull, is weakness. It is what kids do before they grow up and learn to be independent.

I remember a certain dreadlord who infected civilians of Strattholme with plague, then fled when Arthas confronted him, how is that any different than what Sylvanas does? She’s following Scourge in footsteps and it’s dazzling that players support that, ones that say they fight for Horde, rather than Scourge. I’d love to play as Scourge, but under Arthas, not Sylvanas.

i doubt they will kill him or sylvanas but i do think sylvanas will step down from being the warchief

Where do you draw the line for honor thou? is Saurfang faking humiliation, attacking unprepared, unwilling settlements honorable ?

I’m pretty sure Saurfang stayed because he felt suicidal, had enough and just wants it all to end, he made this mess, admitted that it was his doing.

I love Saurfang, but the Saurfang we are seeing are nothing like the one we used to have, one was menancing, charismatic and outright overpowered ( as in a tactical genius ) who was so well known both the Alliance and horde put their armies underhim, while the other is a suicidal senile old man who keeps messing up.

Give me Death knight Saurfang were Age doesn’t affect him or clouds his judgement and now we are talking about a Saurfang I want to follow no matter what.

And somehow I have a feeling that Saurfang is going to dabble with something to overcome his age problem and then we got an actually morally grey, badass scary Warchief that everyone loves.

Saurfang is a mess, he’s old and wants his honorable death, which I pray he’ll get fighting for the Horde, against Sylvanas. Baine on the other hand, is perfectly capable of being a warchief. There was no reason whatsoever to start a war after Legion, Alliance did not seek war or give any notion of wanting it, was all Sylvanas. She’s the reason for all the death so far, and all that will come.

Gallywix is as Gallywix does - no idea why people are surprised by his actions :slight_smile: But, I also think there is a little more to him than meets the eye…
