have you read the rest of the patch notes? you will be able to upgrade that gear to 220 now
I disagree. Of anything, having to push each week it’s maybe a pain but sure makes for better players, instead of getting boosted once and milk on that forever.
There are always complaint about people getting more reward than effort, this is the right change.
Yes, and it’s better than what it was, but still not good enough.
My statement still stands.
Just gotta get it to actually drop first… Give us back justice points too and a vendor to target those items that just never drop
It is not only tedious for people who push e.g. +18 keys but take a break for two weeks and only do some 14s for the GV… it is also very punishable for any alts that you have.
Blizzard don’t really seem to care about the issue with boosters and I’d rather keep the shadowlands keystone way rather than going back to BFA style, because I don’t think it will change anything in terms of how much boosters are spamming trade and LFG anyway.
There are other threads about loot drops and valor points system. This thread is specifically about the keystone formula and I would suggest sticking to that.
You’re still missing the point. There are many flaws which should be fixed or tweaked asap and instead Blizzard ignores most of them and comes up with ‘nerf’ to something no one asked for. It’s not about JUST this change, it’s about prioritizing wrong stuff at wrong time. I’d would first fix stuff that annoys most players THEN bring such changes. Imagine you’re hungry, you’re getting bread and cheese and someone takes the cheese, you’re getting mad and someone comes with “omg it’s just a cheese, people will whine about everything”.
Did i miss in the patch notes what the cost is of the upgrades to 220? I see a weekly cap and a cap on the amount you can hold. But i have no idea how much we get from the dungeons and callings and what the costs are.
Ontopic; i don’t really care about it. I didn’t knew even the change to SL since i do every week the same or higher than the next week.
You’re the one who mentioned you will be able to upgrade gear. You’re the one who opened up that discussion so you don’t get to tell others to stick to the topic if you don’t.
I was simply commenting on your post.
that revert back is best thing … AND THAT IS END OF STORY …
Yes, it’s about what Blizzard are doing to Fix Mythic Keystones. I am getting bringing this discussion up, to remind everyone that Blizzard is wasting time with pointless systems, rather than resolving the real issues of the game.
I think this is part of Blizzards tactic when “listening to our feedback”:
step 1) Do something surprising that all players will dislike.
step 2) Wait for the forums to flow over.
step 3) Revert the proposed change and keep it as it is.
step 4) Claim how much you are listening to community feedback and pat yourself on the back.
bad change
Trash change.
Just like nerfing deleting keys in bfa.
I can read your above argument and I think it is a valid point for people who constantly fail to even time keys… but then again that’s 1 piece of random 226 loot per week, which I think even bad players can have if they are so bad that they can’t time a 14 key ^^
Something wrong with your capslock key? Chill…
But yeah I don’t see why I can’t do 1-4 +14 keys every week on my alt and continue getting a +14 key. I have a blood DK tank and I play it for fun or to help out friends when they need a tank, but I spend most of the time on my main yes…
so u wanted just come to that alt and do 1 +14 dungeon per week for weekyl vault and always expecting to have new +14 key? WHAT IS POINT OF HAVING THAT ALT IF U DO ONLY 1 DUNGEON PER WEEK
It’s sad that for some everything the answer is always oh they got boosted (in general as a theme).
It’s not that person performed badly for whatever reason, it’s always got to be their score was bought/they got boosted.
This will not make dungeons better.
I liked not having to repush my key to a +15 every week, I liked we’d always start with keys that didn’t need pushing and could just do our 4 weeklies for the vault.
I don’t care for pushing and I’ve done my KSM. This is just make people play more metrics IMO. If the issue is with higher keys maybe it should have a cut off instead of making everyone suffer.
Whether or not this is a good change, I think a little info on Blizzards decision making would be nice for these kinds of changes.
Weapons / trinkets for me are always hardest to drop im never lucky when it comes to weapon
Have you had a look in the LFG recently? How should fresh players push their keys if the queue is filled with 18/19/20 keys.
I think the change adresses a very important problem and that is that people need to push their keys and that comes with lower keys and opportunitys for players with less rio to participate in this game once again.
I appreciate the change.
Err, you can always drop your key. People do it all the time. LFG is filled with 18/19/20 keys because more people are climbing the RIO score and they want to continue to do so… It doesn’t address the problem you mention at all. We’re talking about a -1 drop and dropping a key from a 19 to a 18 (or a 14 to 13) is hardly gonna change my reasoning behind who I invite… It is just gonna make me waste more time.
Fully agree with this and when they actually do communicate a reason they could try to also elaborate a bit more on it.
