Changes to Purchasable Game Time Options for the British Pound (GBP)

Worst decision ever. I truly hate blizzard management

Maybe so, but they’ve taken away the option and haven’t given a valid reason for doing so.

Why change something if people are happy and still use it and there aren’t any problems with it?

this effects only peoples what pays in punds ? does this effect peoples paying with euros ???

AH there we gooooo…

now they force us to subscribe to more time than we actually want.
and charge more.

its like they want us to leave this game.
its good thing i already unsubscribed due to expansion of in-game shop. but now its getting worse. and with this-longer and more expensive sub… its a nail in the coffin.

this is so confusing does this effect only british or all ?

Blizzard clearly being racist towards the British. Sort it out now Blizzard.

Do you not understand what GBP is? They have taken these options away from players who pay in pounds sterling, those of us in Britain, not those who pay in Euros. They have also increased the price of game time for those who pay in Canadian dollars but left the subscription prices the same.

Yes I can buy the 1 month subscription and cancel it and fill out the survey every month as to why but why should I? How is that fair? Just because 30 days at a time is more convenient to me and my life I should be completely inconvenienced or buy 60 days at a time even if I am only able to play for 30 days or less?

Its a stupid decision and should be reverted, same as the Canadian price increase.

My english is bad took a while to understand it …

so when are we getting next trasmog set or mount from odering 6 month sub ?
it has been now almoust 6 month from the last one
next time make it a 2 seater mount so it is worth the money !

Was wondering how the brexit might affect things. I should probably look at some point with regards to changing the currency of my account into EUR, hopefully its not anything fiddly as a process. I already moved out when my company pulled out of the UK in 2017 so may as well.

Wonderful job blizzard. you’ve all but guaranteed that I will not be returning.

edit: wait… this is ‘gametime’ and is a different thing from a subscription? well aren’t they lucky I read a little bit more and didn’t just turn my back and walk away for good. I’m sure there are some people who have just walked away though at this news. I almost just uninstalled and deleted this website from my bookmarks.

If I can still pay the monthly sub, then I may still come back just to finish old content, but I’m really just more happy playing FFXIV right now.

new world should come out in summer

The only other country I’ve seen this done for is India.

I’m guessing numbers are dropping from 30 day subbers. So they tie them in for longer and more money before they leave.

no, it really is (based on your above comment where mine wasn’t directly aimed at you unless you are identifying as a remainer who takes glee at any hardships that befall leavers).

it can be accurate but doesn’t mean just cause you got the correct answer you did the sum right.

what, in the same way you are calling me a racist?

i would love to see all those research notes on me xD

either way you’ve proved my point in the attitude of loud remainers blaming all the woes of the world on leavers.

but there is NO point to continue this subject matter as proven by the vote, its basically half the people against the other half, and from the way the country has been split, many are not willing to cooperate for the good of all with the others.

and ESPECIALLY cause the point of this thread is about 30 and 180 day time options (mainly) being removed which i already said is a terrible and disgusting move. i was just pointing out as a side note that remainers like Athena (who was ACTUALLY the person i was responding to specifically) in this thread were quick to blame leavers and being fairly vindictive while doing so.

no i agree. i would like to think that it was not a majority, but yes, a significant amount of leavers voted so because of that reason, and it is a massive embarrassment that we needed their vote to pass it. as a child of the 90’s i wouldn’t know about that, but from living in a pretty “narrow minded” town now, but coming from london, yeah, i can see how ignorant people can be locally. and no, again i fully agree, that not only was there an undertone, it was actually one of the major touting points being projected by the leave side as far as organisations were concerned. again, a massive shame and embarrassment.

coming from irish stock i agree. my college year i was a fish!

the vote yeah, but not whats best for the country. unfortunately as you’ve touched on i believe, what they promised, “the dream” is a load of :poop: and as such will never come true. again, the real reason that was best for leaving the EU is nothing to do with what probably any politician or any in that group mention, so yeah, while they’re over some herring or tuna, of course its all going to go wrong. cause they want it to. and i done mean the remainers. i mean the ones pretending to be leavers!

and i worked within the NHS for 6 years. if your hospital is anything like the departments i worked around, 350M wont solve anything. the administration of the NHS is fundamentally corrupt. i cant believe that its only my area that it is happening, or else they’d get pulled up, so it must be the whole NHS.

funny (not funny) story… about 7 years ago a nursing department where i worked threw away a whole back wall in a storage room’s (4’ by 10’ by 2’) worth of face masks in the bin because they had “gone off”. obviously no one could have predicted covid 6 years later, but i find the irony darkly amusing. it also shows how incompetent the administration side of them can be and often is.

you are right, but they do seem to focus on a couple of major voices like farage and the “in the kitchen” guy. but like i said from that local meeting, they all seem mad, not just the loud ones. your female friend must be an exception, but i wonder, why does she stay with them? more over, why does she stay with her husband! lol

yups, i only heard a clip, but isn’t boris already blaming covid rather than brexit for some fish issue yesterday?

errrrrrr i would wait and see tbh. they predicted the country collapsing back in 2016 or whenever it was didn’t they, just by voting out let alone leaving. the whole osborne package that would be needed as the uk went down the tube 5 years ago that… never happened. speculating can cause whatever issues you want it to tbh.

probably. wouldn’t be surprised. back when the vote went through years ago, the morning of the result you would have thought one of the main “voices” like him would have been over the moon in happiness giving interviews everywhere considering many people never thought it would pass (again the shame of needing a certain group of people to pass it). but no, boris quietly skulked off to play a quiet and secluded round of golf if memory serves. almost as if he was thinking “oh :poop: we won. that wasn’t meant to happen!”

but even though you’ve been a lot more balanced and presentable with your point on the matter compared to the other guy just out and out calling people racists and eye swivelers, brexit has taken over what is a very important thread imo. especially when im not entirely convinced it has anything (or much) to actually do with brexit.

as i said ,to get back to the main topic, game time is being bought with blizzard balance, not directly, so the payment has already been made. so whats the difference between buying 30 days, a mount, 180 days, a server change or whatever? so this makes no sense to me unless blizz have another reason for it.

The EU officers are moving to London this year within the Activision dept.

Now that I don’t believe.

It’s not like Leavers need any help achieving idiotic, self-inflicted hardship…not to mention the fact Leavers insisted on dragging me over the cliff with them, then whining that I should fix everything they were breaking, so they can then tell me there is no problem.
More than 40 years of endless complaining and then they didn’t have a strategic plan, beyond demanding all the benefits of EU membership, without actually being a member.
Jog on.

i was complaining more than a decade before i was born!? :eyes: wow im missing a massive money maker!

or are you being a hypocrite and again lumping me and others all under one flag?

i need say no more. you’re proving my point about the loud remainers in spades.

but cant you read or are you just trying to look for fights?

yes, please do. and watch out for that cliff
