first of all, sorry with my english . I’m french, and i played wow vanilla 15 years ago ! And i decided to play again because of the lockdown it was a good oppurtunity to play it again . I created a character which i didn’t really mean to level up at max level , but you know what , i’m enjoying playing it again , i’m full bis now !

but the problem is , may be others will think that i’m crazy but i hate my charater appearance, many of players think that nochange is better to keep the spirit of wow vanilla . I just want to suggest to put a service on wow classic where we can change appearance of our character thats 'it i don’t want , race, name, or gender change juste the facial of our character .

people change sometime and we want to change sometimes . I know everyone will say , it will affect the gameplay but not at all , blizzard doesn’t need money from it but please let others plays the possibilty to change their face, haircut and skin color! .

please blizzard make it happen .

I know it was in wotlk , and maybe it will be in wotlk classic . but i don’t want to wait until wotlk to have a change on my character so please ! make it wow classic , a paid service ? so everyone can have a chance to play a character that suits them. for me even if it will cost 50 dollars or 100 i don’t care if you give me a chance to change my character facial and haircut , others will be happy . and for the people saying that they don’t need changes like that , no one is forcing you to use it . it’s for the people who wants a litte bit of freedom to their characters ( a 6 months cooldown ?) will be better so people won’t overuse it.

Please blizzzard make it happen ! i know i’m just one of other players maybe not majority but still , other people who doesnt like changes have choice not to change or to use that service .

i’m frustrated how my character look , to be honest it didn’t bother me but no i see that i hate seeing my character without helmet. for others it’s a bull°°°°thing but for me is very important . please don’t say to go back to retail i never played retail i prefer wow classic . but please put a service where we can change our facial expressions hait cut and skin color .

Full support. I’d pay right now. Blizzard wins. Players win. The crybabies in the corner who get upset at someone else changing their haircut will also still be playing the game I can assure you. If they are that bothered by someone changing their haircut, they are truly addicted to the game to the point where it is unhealthy for them. They ain’t quitting over someone else changing their haircut.

thanks for the support :slight_smile: , i’m not against people who doesnt like changes , but everyone can have their own opinion. but really a character appearance , face hair change doesn’t affect the game at all , if they reeally value their character and doesnt want any changes , so ( doin’t use the service) that’s it , it’s for players who doesn’t enjoy seeing their character because they found it ugly , it’s on our mind and not yours so give us the opportunity .

Or give us one last chance to change it !! ( btw i(m against race , name , faction change ) no wayyy!!! but appearance like facial , hair , skin color doesn’t affect at all )

If someone asked me, how to introduce feature like this without hurting RP realms, I would answer, to change appearance make it necessary to change name as well, then it’s going to look like brand new character just arrived from elsewhere (not really different from character transfer). Also, it should have some reasonable cooldown, like once in a month.

Nope.

Don’t like how your character looks? Get a helmet.

WoW of old was an RPG. Your actions matter. If you are not happy with your choices, you can create a new character and the world is waiting for you.

If you want the McDonalds experience, Retail is that way around the corner. :arrow_right:

In previous message I mean appearance in general, like changing face, skin tone etc. For special cases, like haircut, it may not be necessary.

You have literally no argument. Someone changing their haircut doesn’t affect gameplay AT ALL. Retail has completely different gameplay. Playing retail is not the solution.

I dont think anyone have much of a issue with this change in itself. People just dont want retail features added into the game, no matter how small they are.

Full Support! This has 0 effect on the game, and it’s nice that people who put in hours, hours, hours and hours into a character and regret their haircut, or face or whatever at least have an escape to change it.

For someone who plays wow only during lockdowns don’t ruin the game for others who play it all the time. The vanilla concept is no changes.nif you want change your look make another character it’s easy. You could’ve made already an alt who is 20 level by the time you wrote that long forum post. How does someone else changing their haircut ruin the game for you? Genuinely curious.

I’m ok with haircut changes only.
Tho I imagine the community outrage (despite most of us would probably try to change character’s hair if that service would be implemented in game) it will cause, so I doubt Blizzard gonna risk it.

No one is unsubscribing over someone else changing their haircut. Blizzard have analytics on this type of stuff and know it’s only beneficial to both players and their revenue, so I’m surprised it hasn’t happened yet. But it will. Just like paid character transfers have now arrived.

The vocal minority of people who are whining about the possibility of other people changing their haircut are so invested in the game that they simply aren’t quitting over it. Why? Because it doesn’t affect them whatsoever. As can be seen in this thread alone, they can’t come up with any reasons as to why it ruins their game. It’s a control thing. Quite scary actually. But the bottom line is they know it doesn’t affect them so they aren’t quitting over it.

No changes, how has that worked out so far? The game is full of changes already, so get real. Ooohh nooo I’m gonna QQ so hard cuz there is a change :frowning: :frowning: You sound like a devoted religious person.

I am for this change. Having people relvl for this is a bit too much for such a small element that does not impact the game really. I am against services that do have an impact on the game. But this is pretty harmless, and can prolly help people that are annoyed by a choice they made x lvls ago. So ‘Yes’ to appearance change.

I’d be against a barber shop or something, nothing in-game please. Just a service that you can buy from the shop, like realm transfer.
