Class Tuning in Progress – 16 December

So they nerfing UhDKs considering those were performing well with specific covenant, right? What if someone plays other covenants?.. Kinda looking like another frost DK type of nerf in prepatch, when obviously broke covenant ability was the case…

Who would have thought that adding gameplay changing elements to covenants would force the playerbase into a single choice for their char/spec? I’m literally shocked…

BM really sucks atm. One of the worst specs for mythic plus and by faaar worse than MM…

1.) BM legendarys are reeeealy bad. Soulforge Embers is good on paper but extremly clunky to use. The others legs are all just so weak.

2.) Why got BM nerfed for 3-5% just before shadowlands? Makes no sense.

3.) 85% of all Hunters play Nightfae? Can we please buff Death Chakram for people, who dont like ground effects? :X

I think you should give Might of the Frozen Wastes dual handing buff like increasing off hand damage 25% or increasing frost damage maybe. Because 2 hand option is op at the moment 2 runeforging can’t compete with 30% damage increase of obliterate. Auto atack crit situation is similar with 2 hand and dual hand at the moment because of buff for 2 hand auto atack crit change

I am still, to this very minute, absolutely dumbfounded that they thought they could make the system work when literally every other single person on the planet and in the entire galaxy was telling them it couldn’t.

Patch on patch it’s going to swing one way or the other and we’re going to continue round the carousel until we’re at the end of the expansion and Blizzard finally makes switching have basically no penalty (after patches of players begging them to do it) because they’ve given up on balancing and everyone is so strong it doesn’t really matter anymore. Then we’ll be moving onto the next expansion where our galactic toe-rings can be aligned to one of many different transcendant powers and begin the whole process over again.

pretty sure resto shamans are widely accepted as a top 1 or top 2 healer for mythic+ right now by most key pushers

It hurts my soul. :frowning:

It’s quite perplexing that they didn’t nerf the mastery in PvE only. Unholy is nowhere near overpowered in PvP.

Your right, BM sucks so bad, our aoe is crap.
I just gave up, and deleted wow and cancelled my account.

OK im gonna give you something we demon hunters get constantly…
Why should easy spec like BM deserve to be on top dps? You have 3 buttons you mostly press you deserve to be low dps spec.
Doesnt feel good does it?
You have 1 thing going on for you that we dont. you have 2 other specs you can play . MM hunter being extremely OP atm.

Sigh, i miss Glacial spike build, i hate how boring thermal void makes the rotation yet its the only viable build for frost and even then its lagging behind in overall performance. Heck i’d even take a ray of frost build over thermal void but that is just as under tuned as glacial spike.

They are def not garbage lol

When ret paladin or enh shaman were nowhere near S tier and needed a buff, they didn’t get any buff. What I’m also saying is that warlock and rogues have at least 1 viable spec, so it’s not like their situation is as awful as a WW monk or ret paladin.

o yea excellent news.

The usual ignorant screeching here.

“WTF Blizz the class I play didn’t get buffed enough” or " the class that ganked me didn’t get nerfed enough" along with a sprinkle of “Trust me lol Blizz, I did some sums and I know this better than you”

It’s simple, just look at this:
Mortal Strike damage increased by 20%. >> this means that its base/overall whatever everything, it just went up by 20%.
It did 100% before of the current damage it does, after the buff it does 120%.

Damage reduced by an equivalent amount in PvP.
The 120% is reduced by 20%, this depends on how the calculations are applied, it could be a straight, cut 20% of the current modifier, or 20% of the new total.

  • Current modifier - 20%, it makes the ability have the exact same damage it has now.
  • New modifier - 20%, it means it’ll do 96% of its current damage only.

I’m inclined to believe it’ll do exactly the same damage it does now in pvp.

Ok nice. Now please fix Spriest’s anima powers. They’re so boring and useless

If only they stood in that as well as the bad stuff!

Did you honestly just buff EVERY UNDERPERFORMING SPEC APART FROM SURVIVAL HUNTER?!

More like throwing a bones tbh, destrolock get a 22% increase to chaos bolt while we get 5% to our wet noddles slap.
