Although im learning to like Retail more and more (farming mounts and transmogs atm) i feel it lost most of the RPG feeling.
1- Classes feel similar, as in most classes have the same type of abilities for the same results.
2- Itemization feels similar, as theirs less focus on secondary stats and being cloth/leather/mail/plate is almost negligible.
3- Transmogs are cool but i would actually prefer they didn’t exist. Once again being character immersion the issue here.
All in all if you are looking for an Action game with RPG feelings, Retail seems to be the best choice.
we talk about pure arena pservers. they didnt even came close in numbers for any other expansioN/patch.
but how can you know when you never entered an arena in your life. just dont write anymore cheers
The amazing thing with retail (in my opinion) is that you can play for whatever reason you want to.
- Don’t care about lore and immersion ? Do PvP, M+ and whatnot.
- You love farming cosmetic ? Farm transmogs and mount.
- Roleplayer ? Dude the game is full of it and the addition of all of cosmetic stuff makes it even more engaging.
- Love raiding ? Mythic content is actually a huge challenge
Could go on for hours, Classic is a nice game but once you got the main stuff done there is nothing to do exept raidlog and smashing your head against hardcore premade all day.
Retail got issues for sure but it seems they are correcting a lot of them in SL, cant wait to see how they do it.

I aggree about class identity but I feel it applies more do DPS spec.
Use CD, apply x dmg modifier/DoT, spam your main spell. Same for every class.
I’m a tank/heal player and I don’t play my warrior like I play my DH and so on there is things I can do with one that I can’t with the other and my playstyle actually change dramatically beetween classes. Same for healers you don’t play a druid the same you play a shaman and so on.
Factual discussions do not happen like that. Either you bring facts to the table, or you don’t contribute anything of any value. Not a surprised pikachu face tbh.

This is an account from 2015. And it always was. I came back to check out the WoD. And regretted it. Hence no Arena played, no raids done. Because the game was and is bad. Ever since the 2015. And I’m not interested in getting the ATT and collecting everything. I never was a multiglad actually, but that is not the point. No, I don’t remember my first account, the data is lost, the mail was lost long ago. You know, not all the players actually play the game all the time and every expansion. I never played during dummie pandas and I have no regrets. And let’s face the truth, it is completely irrelevant in 2020.
Well, any human being with an iq higher than that of a tomato, can logically derive that I do know what I’m talking about. When mentioning specific items, mechanics, etc, etc. Even raids.
i.e. I wouldn’t be able to name a single pvp season from Pandas. or any items from Pandas for that matter.
