Thanks for actually going by your promise to make era a time caspule and listening to the community ! Best possible outcome and decision!
Man the changes are not the problem . The problem is they doing changes on server that supposed to be a time capsule. And not only that, thay did many of them. Do u understand? They deleted recent changes but somehow they cant delete chronoboons as well which telling that Blizzard contradict themself.
Guild name checks out
No job is not done yet. Chronoboons and rest changes are still here. So blizzard actualy did nothing
Log out skip is an important part of classic and has always been there… Come on reverse this as well
Put a poll in game like Runescape does, and you’ll easily see that these changes were loved by the vast majority…
(heck even have a level restriction to vote if you want and it will still be only a loud minority that was against this…). As a horde as good as BIS 60 raider these changes were exciting…
A breeze of fresh air in a dull out of touch moldy apartment…
Not only this, adding MOS is in the same spirit of adding boons to the game. Boon was added so people could play the game more instead of having to raidlog, it didnt give an advantage in-game except for QoL. Rend is already available to alliance but we have to jump through so many hoops and spend hours and hours of every lockout afking in barrens to get this dumb buff. So adding MOS is a ultimately a QoL change and not an “unfair advantage” like so many people are crying about.
Where are all the guild Masters giving the Feedback the modern ui makes guild Management easier. Cant belive this… Common… Guild Management Takes place in discord, No one wantsnmodern ui or communities or whatever…
This!
Cant believe how out of touch these devs are, most people I came across ingame actually loved these changes for era given the current state of the game. Seems like a very weird time to start talking about #nochanges after all of the stuff that has already been changed since the start of classic.
Caving in to a small minority of streamers who don’t even play the game and degenerates whose only goal is to “pvp” aka grief ppl trying to get buffs is absolutely insane. Will probably stick around and see how this whole situation concludes and if this is the final move from blizzard I think I will just end up quitting again.
Might of Stormwind was a really nice addition to Classic Era. We use mind control at crossroads in order to obtain Warchief’s Blessing today and this is literally the most idiotic mechanic in the game, but due to competitiveness it becomes “mandatory”. With Might of Stormwind this became much more bearable.
I can’t understand why you would now take it away? I mean we can still get the same buff it’s just so unbelievably time consuming (and unreliable obviously).
Just play SoD if you want all this changes?
“Made an update to help the community.”
No, it was an update that leaked into era. It was not intentional.
“Few complaints from players who dont play Era”
No, Era is a “museum”. No changes were promised. Many who complained are those who play era because it is era.
“Rip, time to find another game”
Threatening to quit a game because it is now identical to how it was one week ago. Brooo you people crack me up
We do not want the rest of the SOD changes
Thank you so much for reverting the changes.
And btw, Classic Era is NOT imperfect, it IS perfect
You removed a buff that saved Alliance players from hours of unengaging “gameplay” (if you can call waiting logged out in the Barrens on a mind-control capper and buff-receiver on 2 separate accounts “gameplay”).
You clutched defeat from the jaws of victory with this reversal. Very disappointing.
I do beleive that the majority of players were happy with those changes. Especially MoS. Like it was said on this threat by many, it’s just a QoL change, people are getting Rend anyway, just made it more enjoyable and less stressful/painfull for everyone.
Please, brind MoS back and the 1min timer on World Buffs!
You are playing a game that Blizzard promised us would be left alone. And not just that, they took $15 (or whatever it was) per character, that we paid under the assumption that they would keep their promise not to make further changes down the line.
It really is disingenuous to call it a “vocal minority” when you are playing a game where you’ve known precisely what to expect going forward. You have known, under Blizzard guarantees of no further changes, that there would not be an Alliance rend. You have willingly chosen to play alliance knowing this. You could have played Horde, but you chose Alliance. The game does not need to change to accommodate your choice of faction.
In any case, complaining about the loss of MoS is short-sighted. The server is already (according to ironforge.pro) at a 60/40 A/H (im)balance, and the imbalance is growing at an exponential rate.
Up until now, WCB has been a guarantee that Horde cannot die entirely. 0 horde means 0 WCB for alliance.
It may inconvenience you, but you could also roll a horde character and help balance the server out.
Really stupid change.
Bring easier rend for Alliance back.
Era is not a museum. It’s an active form of the game, that has been molded by the meta of being an indefinitely extended phase 6. The chronoboon, the changes to the ranking system, and various other minor updates have already modified the game from what it was before TBC Classic.
Why pretend that this update was anything other than beneficial for the majority of players who spend time doing end-game content on era?
The failed mission to “preserve” a certain undefined state of vanilla when the upside is better QOL for the otherwise unchanged game mechanics is just short-sighted and boring. Waste your own time doing things the “original” way if you want to, but don’t force it on everyone else who enjoys the game.
blizz clownshow as usual
