Not sure if you heard it, but this is entirely just to get more visibility. I just saw this now, one minute ago. But I’m afraid all our fears about layering came true, and there was huge exploit holes that has been exploited to the max.

Help get a statement from blizzard faster and demand some answers about punishment, as they usually prob gonna leave most of them alone.
I wasnt gonna say it, buuuuut. Feels like priv server really. Moobs run through walls, layering exploited, quests that are broken. Sad day.

I just want want an official reply from blizzard as to why they are retarded enough to let stuff like this slip through with a system they praised the gods with. DO NOT TRY TO REPLICATE THIS EXPLOIT.

Well, in between the raid xp dung farm, and instant spawning moobs, making people 60 in way faster time. Aaaand queue times that were to hell and back, even with the amazing non-abusable perfectly stronk “Layering”. I’d say just quit, and come back in a month or two when they open a new server that is fresh from all these mistakes.

Honestly, might as well roll back every Classic server back to the start now. Or fix it and release new servers at least. The economy is irredeemably damaged on the servers right now and Blizz will not be able to fix the damage done.

The instance reset trick with disbanding group and reinvite is nothing new, was used back in vanilla to.

At best Blizz might ban people who abused this for 3 days if even Lol. How does that fix the issue of them farming tens of thousands of gold and entire guilds getting their pre-bis equip with ease?
This damage is far bigger than you make it sound, it cannot be repaired.
And @Dovregubben - Vanilla didn’t have layers. That’s the problem. It respawns all bosses, you can just do the final boss over and over and over.
They shouldn’t ban anyone for a problem they’re voluntarily and knowingly causing.
No instances dont have layering as far as i know. But you can reset them, think it was like 5 per hour. Its no different than when you join different runs with different groups since you dont get saved in normal instances. And was used in vanilla to farm for gear and mats for raids etc.
Is there anyone with videos?
Otherwise im assuming it can’t be done.

I think this thing works a little different and you can spawn one boss infintely instead of reseting whole dungeon.

Yeah think I’m done with classic, atleast when my sub runs out. Will prolly ding 60 for the lulz. This is just sad

Why is that? People can claim anything.
Most of the information about layering has already been debunked by Blizzard itself. There are some crazy theories circulated which have turned out to be utter nonsense.
Also, how does one bigmouth on a forum, claiming to have broken the game through a layering exploit in dungeons constitute evidence?

They didnt ban anyone so far for layer abuse… so I HGHLY DOUBT that blizz gonna start it now…
They just gonna roll out a hotfix thats all.
All people who abused this just gonna do the same stuff all over again…
