Easy permaban hammer on every single person who has this addon and blizzard can then break the addon. Nobody who’s not abusing layers isn’t going to use this addon or needs it.

You could right click report them for cheating and explain the exploit in the report.
I think it’s just an allegation so far. It’s most likely true let’s face it, as most of them are guildless and without proper community support to reach 1k gold so fast it seems a bit improbable, even with 24/7 playtime.
Blizzard can investigate whether they have exploited or not if a report is made.

Im very bad at making gold but to be fair some are good at it.

Forum and Game mods 2 different teams so even though i agree with you ,your logic is flawed.
You will not get one for at least 5 hours from an EU blue as they are in bed . So you might get one from the US but its weekend Sunday night/ monday morning.
Im so shocked and disappointed by this. The only people who suffer are the folks that follow the rules and would never engage in exploits like this. I hope these people have their ill gotten gains removed from them and are punished in accordance to the Blizzard ToS. There should be no special treatment for streamers either as its not one rule for them and one for us!. Saddned by this and shocked that Blizzard have allowed this to slip through the net also hope this has no negative impact on my server.

They need to permaban anyone that did this more then 3 times, anything less is a slap in the face of everyone that isn’t exploiting.

I guess there was a blue post about this? That all u saw on yt was lie cuz they actusly can check it, and nobody exploited layering in the way to get XY of gold and black lotus and etc…
Also to this BIS gear, its p1, who cares now if some1 has their bis… Its pre raid bis in p1, its gona be weak in 6 months when it matters the most, and those people will have better gear than you no matter what cuz they play 15h/day…
Dont get me wrong, im not defending it, and i hope blizz does something, its just that you are all overreacting, same as with apes killing rag few days after release… Whooo tf cares? And now people demand reroll oe restart servers to fresh? Nah man 50% gona rather quit, how will blizz compensate this time to players? They cant do that
This is the difference between companies:
in original Blizzard’s version of World of Warcraft bugs were quickly fixed and exploiters, even world top guilds, did receive bans when they deserved.
in Activision’s vesion of World of Warcraft company they have original files of Blizzards version but company seems to be not competitive to handle it. Bugs take ages to fix, no exploiters get banned. I’m sad to say that private servers sem to be hosted much better than Classic. Activision just cares of quick money it seems.

Looking into it? There’s people in Ashbringer with over 10k gold by using this. It’s way too late and the economy is totally ruined. Also bots buying limited supply patterns from vendors instantly so nobody has a chance to do it. They are being resold in AH for over 100 times the vendor value since it’s a monopoly.
Why months of beta testing with stupid streamers instead of testing these issues? The point of beta testing was advertisement through streamers or actually, you know, testing??
Bots, insane layering abuse, bugs everywhere, people running backwards all the time, hunter still has tons of bugs with pet and FD… Seriously, why was the game rushed in such an unpolished state? Coming from private servers, one with this quality would have been left in dust after some weeks. Blizz quality is subpar for Classic. Seems like they sabotaged their own game?

Nvm, I had already deleted it. Misread your post a bit, apologies for that. The only thing that you’re wrong about is that exploiters will get banned. And they fixed the exploit as soon as they were aware of it.
This is why friendly fire should be enabled, especially near limited pattern vendors.
Also, the buying of a pattern should have a casting time so that people can fight over the pattern fairly by killing each other, be it a gnome or an orc, shouldnt matter, friendly blood should be spilled.
#nochanges is not justified for this case.
How is it a sad day? Anyone who exploits bugs more than once or twice, deserve the punishment. Because this behaviour will only encourage others to do it.
A game with exploits, is a bad game. I am glad Blizzard addresses this issue.
