So, you want to pay blizzard to keep content away from you while spoon feeding it back? Don’t get it lol That seems to be the issue “done” it’s a MMO there is no “done” it’s why so many still play.
There’s loads of soft gating in the game:
- Weekly lockouts for raids and mythic dungeons.
- Weekly lockout on the vault.
- The amount of WQs on the map essentially acts as a soft gate on how much progress you can make with a reputation.
This is a good thing because it can give the content a bit more longevity but also makes it so that a player who wants to focus on multiple things, can do so while still progressing at the optimal speed the game allows in each of those categories.
It’s not really that hard to comprehend.
You know what. ive changed my mind. If there are players out there that need to log in to do world quests, we shouldnt feel angry at them, but sorry for them.

Because that’s literally the solution.
You don’t HAVE to get those rewards now. You don’t.
If you WANT that; then you’ll have to do what needs to be done.
I get that YOU don’t like that, but if I have to choose between players who literally can’t play the game the way they want because there’s almost nothing to do or a player who CHOOSES to have ‘less fun’, then sorry… The choice is clear.
And that’s why they’re no longer mandatory for the big 3 endgame pillars.
And we’ll have to agree to disagree on the latter; I think they enrich the game.
Possibly, but the WQs would still need to be worth it; so what other reward could they then offer? Basically nobody does content ‘just for the content’. Blizzard themselves have stated as much.
This change is making a certain type of player very happy. It’s giving them content that they lack. For you it’s an incovenience that will pass once you’ve received the rewards you wanted. I’m sorry, but in this case I’m just of the opinion that those two things are not equal in importance. You’re free to disagree with that of course, but Blizzard made this decision for a reason.

But I have to do them ! The game tells me to so I have to ! I just cant go on with my life until I complete those DAILY world quests, I have to do them ! Dont tell me I dont have to, I have to do them, I am FORCED to do it !

No, I have called people quite bad things for being intellectually dishonest and giving non-arguments in return to my opinion. I respect your opinion, and am honest enough to engage you fairly without making non-arguments like “Go play a mobile game with daily log in rewards instead then!”
No, it’s not a solution. I want to get the reputation rewards as quickly as the game allows, that’s what I WANT, stop telling me what I want and do not want. Offer solutions that could keep both of us happy; people like you who want daily WQs, and people like me who don’t want to do WQs every day and yet would like to get the rewards at the fastest speed the game allows. That’s the parameters of this discussion.
I can think of many good rewards for people like you:
- Gear (scaled of course, so it’s always an upgrade for you, up to about normal or heroic raid level)
- Gold
- Materials for crafting
- One off toys perhaps?
- Etc.
Plenty of things I can think of that I think would be fine rewards for WQs.

You get the reward every 3 days when you decide to do the world quests at your own pace, or you get it daily, if you decide to do it daily, choice is up to you.
Since you are going to make a non-argument that doesn’t address my problems at all, I will do the same for you:
If you make 3 alts you can do world quests daily, so why don’t you just do that? The choice is up to you.

Yes, technically it is an option, just like it is TECHNICALLY an option for you to make 3 alts so you can do WQs every day; but that’s not what you want is it? Neither is what you said something I want.

I dunno man, I literally just finished up my week tonight. All world quests complete, story so far complete and am looking forward to some chill dungeone tomorrow night.
But now im gonna have to check every bloody WC to see if there is one i need for prof or gear, instead of just chiliing through them all at my own pace.

Lmao, after all activision took the decision to do this, and for a very good reason, sorry you dont like it, actually not sorry, considering your attitude, you are making this a lot funnier than it should be.
With that said, the choice really is up to you if you want to do them daily or not, you might refuse to accept it, it really is up to you.
