No, It’s not really importnant unless you’re wanting all those cosmetics…
Certain items like ‘boots’ that are 371 ilvl or what not, you easely outgear.
Its why I dont understand people farming for a 389 ring in cobalt. Its not even that good coming the season. Crafted rings will be better because you can get i lvl 400 out of that.
Sounds good - for you.
I like world quests (I didn’t like them in Shadowlands for various reasons).
But they take 1 hour or so to complete and then what?
The faction activities are really only rewarding once per week.
Professions are heavily timegated.
There are hardly any daily quests.
For me world content is severely lacking in ‘daily stuff to do’.
I WANT to play more than 2 days per week, but Blizzard is not giving me that freedom because ‘some people are annoyed by seeing world quests on their map on a daily basis’. World quests that they can freely ignore without any issues, realistically.
My argument isnt they shouldnt have been brought day to daily activities, im pretty neutral in the situation, primarily because im a player with lots of time to play so excess content wont rly affect me.
Im just salty their final decision on open world drops were “super rares”. It feels like a copout titanforging system.
Id of preferred to see a more structured open world gear progression then chasing 286 drops from circling maps looking for rares.
We’re in agreement there then.
I’d love a system where you earn currency and upgrade your gear.
Even if it takes a long time, like Korthia. I like having stuff to do and work towards.
My god the dramatics with you lot, they are still reviewing it and I’m sure they will come up with a solution that pleases both! I’m actually with you on that there’s not enough world quests but to keep them on a daily cycle tied to endgame is really not welcoming to the casual playerbase who might only have the weekends to log on due to long work hours. Giving people the option to either go hard and grind it all out in a couple days or to relax a little a do a few each day seems like a nice freedom of choice to have.
I’m sorry that you only like one particular piece of content, I am fortunate that I like to try out everything this game has to offer so never have ran out of things to do.
Well, at the moment it’s more than ‘normal’ with the expansion being new and all.
No? I do world content. Mostly.
Not tailoring it… I’m not asking for that. I’m asking to not be ignored; like I have been ignored for the last 4 years or so. And Blizzard saying again and again they will stop ignoring ‘us’, but they keep breaking their promise again and again. You try being in that position and see how you like it.
I can see it very clear: You think I’m ‘not playing the game how you think it should be played’. Well… you don’t get to decide that. You do you. And let me do me.
You have grand hunts which are pretty much always up, community feasts and assault on dragonbane which respawn every 2-3h. The person i was responding to was asking about rep, not ilvl rewards.
You’re also missing the point.
I’d love more solo content. Why does it have to be fomo daily locked though? They can add 30 more world quests for all I care, but why not weekly? Then you can bang out 6 a day and feel like you have a reason to log in, and I can clear them in one evening.
Also why not advocate for other solo content? More events, treasures, puzzles, mounts to farm, pets to collect, transmogs for doing various world acitivites to chase. Why are we so hooked on daily WQs, it’s like the worst content this game has to offer - and it’s on a timer.
Normal flights good for use in such as brbing, or in the air waiting for people are rares tho, it defintly has its uses.
As someone who needs at times be able to get up away from the pc the freedom not to have to just watch ny character die because i dont have time to travel to a town.
