Yup, doing a traceroute shows it’s an issue on Blizzards end, but their AI just close the ticket and give no way to escalate to get a real person to handle the issue.

So our best bet is to use a VPN and contact Norlys, hoping that they can get through to Blizzard.
I’ll call them monday, even though Shadkillz and Iveso’s chats with them should be enough to get it looked at.

Funny thing - Blizz ignore you and me (though I’m playing from Hungary, with the same problem) even there. But they had similar situation with Poland few days ago and fixed that but not ours.

Reply from Reddit:

I contacted the business side of Norlys yesterday, as I had the option through work and got a response today.

Norlys Erhverv

It’s not your IPS problem, it’s Blizzard peering problem.

We know, the traceroute suggested, but when we attempt contacting Blizzard they close our tickets and refer us to the ISP.
I tried contacting Activision as it’s all the games using the Battle.net launcher having lag / issues and after 7 mails from them, they said they couldn’t do anything and I should go send a bug report and at the same time contact my ISP, which I then did, hoping they could get Blizzard to wake up.

At least they told Blizzard that it is their probably. Hopefully, they’ll fix it. Actually, if you check your route with winmtr, you’ll see that problem is not necessary in traffic between Germany and Netherlands, but between blizz routers. But who knows. If they so it is not any ISP problem but Blizzard so be it. I hope Blizzard will start working on this problem at least, if we can’t even get a respond from blues.

Not Danish but I live in Denmark. Can confirm that for the past couple of weeks maybe even month or so, at least a few times a week I’ll get massive lag-spikes where everything functions but my game has 2k input lag and basically “everyone is idle” despite things still happening… I usually end up dying in raid/m+ and it’s usually in the evening time at either 8pm or 10pm.

Happens for a couple of minutes; Discord, youtube and everything is fine. Exclusively with WoW. I relog and it’s gone.

-200 ratings in rbg because the game thought I abandoned the match, this is such a ####!

I am raiding with people who live in Amsterdam, they aren’t affected by this.

I also have a friend from Netherlands who has no issue. The issue can be just bad router(s)’ settings on blizzard side or smth else.

Clear routing issue. I am in Serbia - 200 ping currently on tarren mill, the second i switch to my alt on kazzak im at 20/20

Yeeep Norlys Here, sometimes dungeons/delves/instanced content will random lag spike like hell, everything else works.

And in Denmark as well

Dane with norlys here aswell, getting the horrible lagspikes ever since launch.

It has been better for a time. Now instances are lagging out several times a day again.

Have to use a VPN to be able to play instanced content without lagging out

The fact that everything else works fine, just proves once more than that issue lies with Blizzard.
People saying it works in Netherlands / Amsterdam, that’s because they’re on the other side of it, seeing as the issues between Germany / Netherlands.
If people try running a tracert (or pathping), rather than just a ping, they’d see where the issue is.

I have been able to play these last few days without a VPN, anyone else doing better?

It’s become a lot better, still happens occasionally, but nowhere near to the extent it was a few weeks ago.
Blizzard has also looked into the routing (was a .net server to a .com), which seems to have resolved some of it… So it would seem that they’re working on it, but not willing to give any real feedback.
