That is one very specific clan all the others did not do that… when gul’dan corrupted the orcs with demon blood they all became corrupted so i do not really see that as the same thing

Which would bring us into an entire debate about roleplaying but most people do not play for roleplaying there are more people playing normal content doing m+ or raids or pvp.
i mean if you care about “fitting race” you care about roleplaying, because otherwise it just won’t bother you anyway
Your problem is you view using the light as something that needs religion.
You need commitment to what you see as righteous that’s it.
That’s why even the evil guys like the scarlets can use the light.
You must be firm in believing what you do is the right path that’s it. Many races just adopted this as part of a religious belief cause that is simple for there people to follow
How about another world-ending calamity. I don’t know if you played the Legion campaign for the DK class, but it shows that they don’t really care about anything but winning. That’s why they tried to make Tirion a Death Knight. They were ready to condemn the guy who actually welcomed them into the fold to that terrible existence. So yeah, there’s your reason.
Now I think the dragon-geese could be made into DKs, they make sense. Large, strong, smart. Everything you’d need from a front line fighter like the DK. Certainly make more sense than gnomes and fox things.
We need to kill more dragons to make dracthyr available as DK. There simply aren’t enough bodies left to make it profitable to resurrect them.

At this point since they already made so many race with class combinations they should just remove all restrictions in one fell swoop and make the game playable for every race with every class combination. Since blizzard is obviously not going to care about what makes sense lore wise
In hearthstone there are some goblin and worgen DHs. So that’s something I guess.

The biggest worry would be that Blizzard wouldn’t give a decent lore reason for new Death Knight races, and just do bugger all with it. They’ve already technically done that with all the Allied Races (pre-Dragonflight) after BFA and as Shadowlands arrived.
BFA was definitely a 
show (and so was Shadowlands) but I really wish they’d go back and better define Bolvar’s increase in recruitment. It just feels… off.
Nowadays, I’d hardly think the writers have enough backbone or emotional depth to comprehend a decent story about the Ebon Blade still raising people into Undeath, including Dracthyr. They’d just give them to us, which would be pretty dull and a slight against the lore.
I’d rather them build new and compelling lore rather than just ignoring it.
Yeah that’s why we had a whole warlock questline that released with new warlock race combinations in df… Pretty good one by the way, kind of felt fromsoft esque, not that warlocks need explanation for each race, but it did gave an example scenario of how warlocks can be made
Literally. The forsaken are probably prime examples of people who are potentially depressed. Lost everything died rejected by living family.
Well see i WANT them to make something about the way they can raise new dks again. A good storyline that will set up dks being raised no matter what expansion. But im afraid that they might be heading down the DH route where they will just forget DKs exist post shadowlands. Like… i think its within my rights as a player to see a cool race that i fall in love with,and want them to be able to be my main class which lore wise ccepts any race,its not like im asking for paladins or druids which i know have strict race lore implications
And its still a game,i never stated they should abandon lore,infact i state multiple times lore implications of whst im talking about,and give suggestions on way to implement it lore wise. I love the lore and i have since 2009 when i started playing wow. But you CANNOT tell me that there is no plausible way that rhe order of undead fighters sworn to protect azeroth are seeing a void harbinger and the impending whispers of a void/light war and they just sit and wait. They would DEFINITELY be recruiting more fighters to their cause to safeguard Azeroth as do all other factions.
The question is, can they? Cause they lost pretty much every artefact of power that allowed them to raise more Death Knights.
The DK Artefacts from Legion went bye-bye, the Helm of Domination is now a tiara and it’s not in the world of Azeroth either. The Lich King is gone, it’s just Crispy Bolvar left. So yeah, how they raising more DKs?
Well see thats the problem? They should get some story beats for that. Implement and write more stuff to make dks being raised a possibility again. Instwad they arent doing anything. Which means what?.we arent getting ANY new race dks? Thst would be really REALLY stupid…
Well, I will point out that you’ve actually got no rights at all regarding cool race/class combinations. None of us do. It’d be like saying that it’s within my right to bring 50 people to a 5-man M+ key or that it’s within my right to turn WoW into CoD because I like modern military shooters. It’s not our game and we have to play by Blizzard’s rules.
With that said, yeah, Death Knights certainly could see all Allied Races become available if Blizzard were inclined to do so. If they want to bring in FDK Dracthyr, then its up to them. All we can hope for if they do so is that they also flesh out some story.
I like story arcs that are important but not part of the main expansion theme. Shows that other stuff is happening in the world and that not everything is an Apocalypse-level encounter. Could be just the Ebon Blade doing a mixture of grave robbing and Azerothian Dignitas.
Paladins and Druids are a different topic, but certainly would benefit from Blizzard showing respect to the lore when adding new race combinations. Add some new animations, etc.
