Are you tough ? Looking at your character i would argue that you are actually playing the game, looks more like some read an article that was linked to him on twitter and then decided to go bash heterosexuality on the forums.

Hard if the story covers more then 2 decades now. The Warcraft 1 Handbook covers the relationship with Aegwynn and her Aran. To tell a Story Characters kinda need a Background story.
The situation is a bit more complex than what you described. Yes she does need to follow particular story beats, but the dialogue for example is all on her, wich is valid for critisizm aswell.
They are out of place if they implement gay relationships like this. As I’ve said before, they must’ve created new characters from the scratch instead of turning 2 Alliance characters to gay all of a sudden.
People thought Matthias was into Valeera and Flynn was into Taelia but result is they are gay.
She hates white males that was why I messaged her. Madeleine Roux (Author of Shadow’s Rising) is a white male hater lesbian. You can find her tweets etc if you look for them.

Romance (regardless of M/F, M/M, F/F etc) absolutely can and should have a place in games. Not all games are able to carry such themes in a way that doesn’t come across as forced or cringey however, and in this regard World of Warcraft is decidedly in the suboptimal category.
I think the only romantic entanglements in WoW that didn’t come across as either forced, cringey or too heavily relying on tropes, I can count on one hand.
