Did you do the do the war campaign quest where those two help you to rob the Zandalari vault? There was tons of suggestions of chemistry between them there.
If it was a man and woman, most people would have interpreted it as “I think they kinda like each other!” But because it’s two men, a lot of people just interpret it as “bromance, no hom0” because they assume unless a character is consistently shown to be or constantly refers to banging the same sex, they must be straight. Those assumptions were wrong, and people get their knickers in a twist and claim it came out of nowhere.
I mean this thread has been ridiculous regarding showing bi visibility. People claiming it hasn’t been shown properly, they’ve only been shown to be straight. It seems for way too many people the only proper way to show bi sexuality would be if in every appearence these individuals are juggling a guy in one hand and a girl in the other or referencing such.
That is not really how it works. Bisexuality exists outside of sexual exploits and is a facet of existence outside of bedroom activity. You may as well claim that the hordes of male incels on the internet aren’t really straight given they have no interactions with women nor often refer to such exploits. But that’s absurd clearly, their sexuality is a thing whether they act on it or not. So it goes here.

Sure, that was more an example. I have friends that I feel an absolute and complete love for (male and female) but it is a purely platonic love, I don’t want to bang them. Well, alright, one of them I do, but we worked out better as friends.
You can have that unconditional love for a person without any physical hanky panky, or even wanting hanky panky, or being related to them by blood. That is how Thrall and Taretha’s relationship came across to me from what we know. They’re obviously not related by blood, but their friendship was so intense that it was accurately described as love.
