Delves should be solo content only

MMORPG =
Massive = a lot of…
Multiplayer = lots of people playing
Online = well, you know.
RPG = role playing game

Nowhere it says you gotta group up or whatever.

And you madame, when did you roleplay lately? :thinking:

And these days, where do you get the impression of this whilst playing WoW?

Can’t recall last time I saw more than 80 people in a place, and that was in a BG and it lagged like hell. :upside_down_face:

It’s not that bad. Dornogal is quite busy. As are the other cities.
And the lag…it’s unpredictable. Sometimes I get it while I’m all alone gathering flowers. :face_with_diagonal_mouth:

No it doesnt not say. But an MMORPG…heck MMO game in general shouldn’t encourage solo play as the “best way to play it”…otherwise whats the point? Just make it as a single player game.

Should MMO allow solo play? In my personal opinion. Yes. Lone wolf playstyle is as valid as any other. But should solo play become meta or the main way to play in an MMO game? No…it should not.

If Delves should be solo only, then we need a new mode that is exactly for 2 players and 2 players only. And since it’d exist between solo and 5man, it should reward strictly better rewards than Delves.

Why tho?

This is what I don’t understand about the whole argument of “delves are easy in party”.
So are dungeons, raids, quests and grinding for cloths.

Literally, why do you care?

Is it hurting boosting services that much or what is the problem here.

So how does this stop you from playing the game exactly?

It is what it is sadly.

Same in Diablo 4, Group makes every solo content easier

Delves drop rates will be nerfed hard. At the moment you can get Mythic Raid ready gear faster than doing the actual raids. Normal Raid is completely trivial as you can get 4 normal raid gears A DAY.

Enjoy while it lasts.

I don’t care that others are able to get the same rewards easier as a group than I can solo. As long as I also have the possibility by myself in these.

My worry is that doing the Delves in a group are so much easier than other group content for same or better rewards, that rewards from delves will be getting a nerf - instead of fixing the scaling.

Blizzard gave solo players a really good reward-track here I think, and now I am afraid that it will be taken away again, instead of being fixed.

The gear in delves goes only up to Heroic raid level.Nowhere near amazing Bis blah blah blah mythic …What you on about?
They should up the difficulty for groups not nerf the rewards.

If this happens I am not giving this game any more chances.

You can get full Heroic gear from dvelves…which you can turn to tier pieces. Only thing you are missing is some maybe better trinkets. That is what Mythic Ready gear is…full Heroic. What I said is 100% truth.

does mimicing what proffesional belly dancer does (she was going though room and randomly picking / engaging people after her main show ) during turkish evening + dance show counts as roleplaying ? :smiley:

was fun how she engaged the audience :stuck_out_tongue:

god i already miss my vacation :stuck_out_tongue: need next one fast :stuck_out_tongue:

and how is it a bad thing ?

to improve them you still need crests from raids and m+

but you can get nice starter non garbage gear on your alts relatively easy

i see it as aabsolute win

Disagree with solo-only. People should be allowed to bring friends. But all the content should be soloable, and within reason. Right now sometimes it is, sometimes it’s not, it’s like a rock-paper-scissor of poor balancing.

It’s unfortunate, that the one thing in game that could prove personal, individual skill is taken away once again by groups being able to cheese the contents and gear up for mythic dungeons, which is unfortunately what WoW has been about for far too long.

I was hoping it would have been the one thing that separates the ppl who are skilled and those who are just geared and avoiding dungeon mechanics in a group

I’ll explain it to a simpleton like you, solo players like mmos because of the SHARED world experience and achievement. The never ending content that’s cycled out it is the only tab target combat with the responsiveness that wow has along with the content variables. The option to then do group content which is not forced. Name a single player rpg that has shared world experience openly and doesn’t end.
You can’t so educate yourself

so you are looking for something extremly niche that next to nobody else is looking for in a game

got it :slight_smile:

wow will likely never offer what you look for so you gotta try different games :slight_smile:

its like accusing creators of LoL or Dota that they dont offer solely solo mode offering the same rewards as their main game :slight_smile:

did the story mode for overwatch made it to game ? or blizz scrapped that too because next to nobody really is interested in it after all ?

You do have a point there.

But if they decide to either nerf the loot or increase the party difficulty it only means I am not the target audience for this game anymore.
And not specifically because they touch my dear delves, but because it shows that their design will never allow any kind of activities that aligns with my standards of “fun” in a videogame.

Won’t be missed I know!

Do you think blizz would have made even guides to play tww solo if next to no one wants this and is only “extremely niche”?

Stop making up facts.
