Nope they were not. You can have your own thoughts, but they were created FOR solo AND grouped play. If you refuse Blizzards own description of it, I can’t say anything else
What is? The solo part? Why? If the game is created for you to do solo and or in groups, it works fine. Just because you can’t do it as effective solo as you can in a 5-man does not mean the system is not working.
Or at least, the group part is not what breaks it, as you seem to think it is.

Nope. Again, you can’t just take Blizzards words and go “yeah they do say grouped content… But you keep ignoring they designed it for solo players!!”

They WERE LITERALLY FRICKING LITERALLY created FOR solo and world content players. So they could FINALLY AFTER GOD KNOWS HOW MANY YEARS have an endgame progression as well.
Go listen to Ion’s words at the Blizzcon deep dive from last year. He says it. LITERALLY.
I am NOT claiming delves were made to be soloed only. Those are NOT the words I’m using. I am saying: THEY WERE SPECIFICALLY MADE FOR SOLO AND WORLD CONTENT PLAYERS.
It might be best if this thread, and the other delves threads are left alone, delves are what they are, and it’s probably not going to change, because Blizzard pretty much never takes advice from these threads.
So given it seems to do nothing other than annoy people on both sides of the fence, perhaps it’s time to close this thread, and let people’s opinions be what they are, after all the content isn’t changing.

in delves solo players still have a viable end game progression route that gives:
1 progress
2 challenge
3 gear
You’re trying to put on a ‘solo player hat’ and scream “mine mine mine” when the person you are berating clearly shows blizz said differently.
well as stated in the thread it is merely a sugestion on how to fix the tuning issue they have /had but it is just that a sugestion i dont want to exclude people or take away content as it is no US VS THEM thing here. It is just gear and good fun
And yes while what my sugestions was abit to extreme. People pointed it out and i made changes to the Thread now in no shape or form am i Mad or want to exclude anyone i simply wanted to come with a sugestion on how to fix the tuning issue

I will happily take it down if i m shown how it turned out to be a bigger thing than intended so tryed to delete the thread but cant do so since people have comented on it. I have however made a flag post on the Thread to see if blizz can just remove it for me as this is a big mess by now
Everyone agrees delves should be doable for solo players as well for groups, and that the difficulty should sort of match for everyone with any spec and role.

Now, either read your own words, and accept Delves were NOT made specifically for solo players, or just realize that you do not agree with what the mode was for.

yeah sadly isnt working cant remove a thread when people have comented on it so guess i will just wait it out and see if it gets removed. or just simply dies after people have finnished arguing
There isn’t a definition, but somehow we are dumb for not knowing what is meant. I am fine with that.
And by your reaction you do not agree with the statement delves should be doable and sort of the same difficulty no matter the group-sizes and the spec/roles.

World content players are in no way shape or form limited to solo play. so thanks for making it clear, that you yourself also agree, that Delves was not made solely for solo players.
It is even not clear what a solo player is;
I have done dungeons up to M+ on my resto shaman and groupdelves up to tier 11 with friends.
On this char i have done the initial leveling, sejourner side quests. I do mining. I do WQ’s. Weekly events like special asignments and theater, I do solo delves (up to t6 max yet). The highest group content i have done is a couple of (weekly) follower dungeons.
A solo player are usualy the players who play on low pop realms. they dont have a guild. Their friends have left the game years ago. And they have grown tired of the BS toxic attitude of people in pugs so they geared strictly trough world quests before delves became a thing. In other words they do everything they can to avoid playing with other players
Personally I understand solo players to be people that never / and or very seldomly gets into an organized group and or group at all.
So I wouldn’t call M+ players solo players… But(!) as I mentioned to OP, trying to “force” Delves to be solo only, probably affects other people too…
Maybe someone is playing with their kid, sibling, friend whatever, and all they do is world quests, collect stuff etc… Now they should be punished because Delves should cater only to solo players?
