DH nerf when?

Not saying what they did after that video was right - it certainly wasn’t, it trashed feral, and destro and surv were OP that season - but that last comment was a bit disingenuous. ‘Weeks later’ everyone had much more ilvl and higher damage was to be expected.

They didn’t do much, Havoc and Vengeance still S tier this season.

The GCD on Imo Aura hurts a lot from my perspective. Having chain proccs on Imo Aura now feels less satisfying, especially when not playing Inertia Build. I wish they would have nerfed that skill by additional 12% instead of adding a GCD to it.

This spec shouldnt be doing 20% more damage than any other dps class in the game and you know it.

The december 5th nerfs was a disgrace to the community since it barely even moved DH by anything.
I am expecting atleast a 10% all damage nerf.

More likely ‘my mate heard it from someone who read it on the forum, so it must be true’.

Actually the meta is VDH and Augvoker + whatever brings the most damage and CC which is probably 2x Havoc.

I don’t care about the other nerfs.

But the a fire inside nerf actually pisses me off.

Realz has a tendency of nerfing procs instead of damage, he did the same thing for hidden opportunity, when he changed the proc from 100% to 80%, and that partially damaged the flow of outlaw rotation.

STOP IT! NERF DAMAGE, NOT PROCS.

Damage nerfs this time were already unnecessary, but that nerf to A fire inside… This nerfing of gameplay to affect balance in some way is just so incredibly frustrating and defeating. I’d really like to know why is this kind of nerf even considered, let alone actually brought into the game. Stop nerfing gameplay for the sake of “balance”, please.

Damage is honestly fine, i’m just pissed that they are nerfing mechanics.

Which is why i made the comparison to outlaw hidden opportunity, another example of what you should avoid when nerfing the damage of a spec.

Mechanical nerfs are just not good.

And should be almost always avoided.

Yet realz seems awfully inclined to nerf a spec mechanically, which is something i do not like.

a fire inside is strong, mostly because immo aura is strong, 30% though is frankly not that high, and it’s in the high rng territory where you could get back to back resets, but also get none for a long time.

And 25% is even worse.

If they wanted to nerf the spec they could have just nerfed immo aura a bit more, but instead they nerfed the proc chance of a fire inside, which is not a good idea.

Even Imo Aura nerfs like 10% are bad balancing thoughts. All these DH nerfs target his aoe damage but (hopefully) unintentionally also lower his Boss dps. Next week we will probably find ourselves at bottom dps, talking about Boss damage.

I expected nerfs but I also see that rogues and bm hunters are also topping meters so I don’t really understand why dh is being targetted. It’s been a good while since we’ve dominated. Usual buff and nerf cycle.

Newsflash there will always be classes that are on top of the meters btw dh, bm, rogues in raids are not on top of the meters…, in m+ well that as i said.
