How about a 10 euro bill?
mY pOwEr Is My OwN
At the end of the day, I think we can agree to disagree. Ultimately, I donât think it should or would reflect on Ryderâs discord or this discord.
This is making a mountain of a molehill, and frankly, it needs to be put to rest, IMO and let each other live our own lives without retrospect on each other.
I love Degnomeracy.
Ah okay understandable.
Guys I have some news!! I donât like anyone else so I shall be making a 4th (Fourth) Gnome discord for literally only myself! Please all feel suitably left out.
I love you.
Now this getting out of hand, now thereâs 4 of them
Please join the Popular Peopleâs front of Gnomeregan discord.
As opposed to the Gnomeregan Popular Peopleâs Front?
Whatâs the difference?
I create the 7th Gnelement.
A Discord for all gnomes on the horde side.
I never asked for a mod position, I just didnât want to join in the first place because of the direction the community was going. I made another server because I didnât want to join the first - frankly because of the circles it attracts.
Itâll be a polarising opinion to post on the forums, but I donât like the edgy, fast-paced meme filled atmosphere that certain individuals bring. Itâs hyperbolic to talk about people feeling safe as much as not wanting to have to deal with another repeat of seeing a server brigaded and become a cesspit like with Rogmashaâs chillzone.
I know that a lot of this just boils down to personal beef with one of the mods, whoâs been far more vocal about stuff and has been a bit of a target of controversy. Personally, I talked to Mayto about helping out because of the experience he had in organising the Azeroth at War community and similar goals of creating a less edgy and toxic environment.
Itâs not gonna be an opinion people like, but whatâs the point if not being genuine?
Lmao these guys are writing full paragraphs about discord servers for gnomes
This is one of my signature quotesâŚ
Letâs split the tiny () gnome community up. Letâs go!
Thatâs not true, though
There was nothing to moderate. They should have said âthe other discord is deadâ and I wouldnât have disagreed
What they disliked was âIâm not a modâ
Please read the thread before making canned responses, dude
Yeah it doesnât count as being toxic if itâs not aimed at you I guess
Very partisan opinion
Says the man who began altposting at the start of this very thread
Yeah you didnât have that opinion when you were brigading at Ryder on your epic peon alt earlier
You fired the first shot, king. Blame yourself and yourself alone
Honestly, Scorchbraid, I canât believe I was actually saying âhey, cool, this dudeâs dark-bazaar idea seems pretty neat⌠hope he does well in it⌠Iâm willing to give the dude a chanceâŚâ
Then you pull this weird Boris Johnson-esque stuntâŚ
The real irony here is that the true toxicity of this server stems from Scorchbraid (the Tomayto) and his band of torch-wielding cronies and youâve been sucked right in by his hate-mongering.
Success breeds jealousy. This is the core matter. Since despite the mountain of claims that have been laid at the feet of the PCU, the opposition have only proven themselves effectively poor at carrying out any concerted anti-PCU effort without making it look like an ugly PCU spat or some tribalist mentality of insults.
Iâd sincerely love the believe that there was some genuine reason behind making this new discord, but time and time again, vocal members of anti-PCU leanings have actively cast out a negative cloud against even the slightest association of any PCU activity within their communities. PCU investment in a community isnât going to bring an unholy inquisition or a network of secret police, instead itâll bring active RPers who are dedicated to keeping their racial community alive and kicking, whatâs there to hate?
Like, if Perroy rocked up with a guild full of Gnomish ERPers and griefers, then yâall should start panicking. But donât sit around and lament in weeks to come if a community is suffering, only because you left a dedicated guild out in the cold. Because quite frankly, Iâve seen the PCU operate at peak efficiency, they are running campaigns on their own steam and maybe those campaigns would still be open if it wasnât for the regular group of people whoâd happily lap up the RP-PvP experience but then mutter negative words under their breath.
even in this very thread, as Apawi pointed out, thereâs some doing that.
Sounds like a peak way to not get invited to any RP-PvP anymore.
