I can’t really recommend any, but I can tell you that the ones around Duskwood seem particularly… lackluster. Is there a faction preference?
I’d love to RP with some villain RPers… though unfortunately so far I haven’t met any who did decent RP… or… accepted a loss, consequence and did not turn to god-emoting… or actually having a belivable character…
Alliance, it allows more random RP than Horde, which is something I don’t mind myself
I know Nelox is a cool guy who’s been doing cool not-quite-good things for a while now, not actually sure if he runs any kind of guild. I’ll try to drag him into this thread to see if he has any ideas.
He owns the thread.
Only evil guild I know of is Macabre but they don’t accept DKs, booooo.
U stoopid. And yeah I don’t run any kind of guild cuz I can’t be asked to run one. Not only that, but not many people are active as evil necromancers in AD anymore.
So you are telling me “5 random guys with clubs and armor will defeat the demon hunting guy”? Yea sorry, no. Then you and me have a different interpretation of that.
That’s odd but it does have some anti magic properties if I remember correctly. Saronite being able to deflect spells thrown at the wearer.
Anti magic shell. Spell is thrown back at you.
What kind of comparison is this? Yes, DH’s and DK’s are above the normal person.
And yes each of them is pretty powerful.
Though I am not 100% sure if they accept DK’s. Though they are villains and cultists!
Same for the guys of “Macabre”. With the death knight guy that I can’t spell his name because it’s… Kjulfrik?.. Jygfryk? Something like that.
But… The kjyglfrik guy is a DK…
(((((((((((((not a dk ic)))))))))))))))))))
Ofcourse you are not Donkey Kong IC, silly goose.
Drift King*
No, i am Dread king IC.
Also, Elyza’s guild is a thing to give it a go, for villain RP. Don’t know if they allow DKs.
Edit: Nelox, hmph.
This hasnt happened for a few years now. We’ve moved past such silly concepts and niether Saronite nor whatever insert class-specific spell or innate ability here
works as a trump card in-game or in lore.
Get with the times or stay unsubbed my friend. The age of “This class is OP because I say so” is over or rather has never existed.
Ah yes, “I am going to ignore established lore because I say so”. The irony.
Just one thing, really.
They should be willing to be taken down.
Too many, like the Church and the Vedict several months ago, are RPing villains, then either refuse to get taken down or just come back like nothing happened n3xt week when they are taken down.
But yes, good guys should also be ready and willing to lose, it’s a two sided thing.
But demon and cultist RPers who refuse character death is one of the most frustrating things in RP.
I quit DH RP just because of that, and it made me feel useless over and over again.
You were useless at the start when you chose to play as a void elf.
Established by what? Some random quest in Zuldrak a few expansions ago? If it was still as potent / useful why dont we see spellbreakers or whatever specialist unit decked out in Saronite to combat mages or magical effects? Why don’t we see any military group at all rolling with your interpretation and use it?
Why is it that my character can look at a death knight wearing saronite and turn it into ash and not get turned inside out? There is no ground you can base your statement on while I’m backed up by the complete lack of what you’re claiming as canon lore and game mechanics.
Unless you want to prove me wrong and show me what development past Wrath shows that Death Knights, Saronite or whatever undead creation serves the same function or is equally as potent as back then
By that logic a warlock can just throw their infernal on you, stun and wait until the AMS has run its course. I think the point Daelhad is making is that plenty of classes (if you play them IC) have the potential to be just as powerful as a DK – Paladins especially, being the original “Hero” class.
Woah, someone is being a prick.
The chad spellbreaker vs the virgin caster.
