What do you think? Ppl PuG 30 man in retail… can 40 man MC be pugged? what’s your opinions?
yes, most likely not the whole raid, but if you join a good pug, you can do the whole raid too
you can probably pug most raids except naxx, the knowledge and skill learned over the past 15 years which wasn’t there in original game.
Incidentally - there is a 30man version of Molten Core on retail?
it s a matter of whether your pugs knows their job and boss strats or just coming to wipe everyone by not knowing what should be
All can be pugged, but you need dedicated players who have time and gear. It´s much easier to roll a 10 player HC on retail, than a 40 player on classic. But it´s less the skill and more the overall gearing process and amount of reliable players.

Does MC still require ~200 fire res or has it been nerfed in Classic?
Used to PUG it back in the day so definitely can be done.
It was often a frustrating experience though - don’t expect it to be as clean and easy as a well oiled raid team.

yeah u need fire resistance. If ur DPS a bit less (90-100, correct me if im wrong) but healers and tanks should be capped.
p.s. i havent touched a single private server ever. This is what i remember from back then.

people on private servers have cleared mc in leveling gear and with half the people below lvl 60
i know private servers arent 100% accurate, but i seriously doubt the blizzard version will be significantly more / less difficult
If you’re very picky with who you pick up then yes. So far I’ve seen a lot of people that don’t have the faintest clue about managing threat and using crowd control, however. Lots of butt pulls, lots of damage taken from AoE that doesn’t have flashy alerts etc.

It can be, but it’ll be frustrating finding the people and wiping tons and tons. Of course, that’s how raids are to begin with so nothing much new. 
Obviously yes and no, because its a pug.
In vanilla though, more players that reach level 60 have some idea what to do. In Wrath(I was a wrathbaby so I know) the levelling experience didnt teach enough and I caused many issues for PuGs and random dungeons. Hardly ever even knew where the instance was.

trust, listening to the raidleader only and having a voicecom. Come prepared with pots , gear, patience and time.
well, I organized 25 man naxx PuG’s in Wrath before they added LFD and searching tools like that

I like how most answers are “well, if you basically organize a PuG so that it’s not a what a PuG means usually but an organized group of good raiders, then yeah”.
That’s the sort of “it’s TECHNICALLY a PuG”.
That being said, I remember we killed three boss in MC with 25 people in the raid the first time we went in (a handful of us had previous MC experience though), with half the people being completely clueless about how to play in general.
So yeah, I’m expecting it to be facerollable.
But I also expect a lot of people who will jump in with the “it’s facerollable” mentality will get wiped a lot nevertheless.
Yes, you can easily pug it. However there are some variables required before you can, like every member of the raid having some fire resistance gear.
