Imagine how much worse it would have been…
The issue is feeders.
Ppl buying the gold need to be banned permanently no questions asked you do that and they will vanish overnight.
It comes to somthing when your proffessions are useless bc ppl are lazy and want things done for them.
These are a few of the reasons ive been on the fence about rolling properly on an anniversary server at all.
The whole experiance is being destroyed by botting programmes designed to gather or lvl you up.
I’ve seen vids where 6 diff ppl take the exact same route to avoid mobs jumping on them and i do mean the exact to the stepsame route its a joke that blizz allow this at all.
Yep, the selling and advertisment is getting out of hand, just like in the first classic.
When did I say that? It was like that in 2019 and you think blizzard will do anything now? Try to think about what other people wrote before you give your two cents.
So we shouldn’t try to make the game better just because of how it was in 2019? Great man, really great
Disclaimer: this is a LARP and I do not mean what I write here. On top of that, this is a LARP I already have posted somewhere else.
I fully believe Blizzard is behind the gold selling. Who can believe all this money is being bought and sold in their game and they do NOT profit?
Soft benefitting would be just cashing in the subs for the bot accounts.
Hardcore benefitting would be to create an environment where bots and gold sellers flourish, while at the same time they also generate gold and sell it themselves through some obscure backdoor. Bots and other sellers would provide cover.
Think of it - One single server to have everyone contained under one roof - If a server were too small, bots wouldn’t care (like it happened in Classic re-release) and they would therefore provide no cover for the operation. But one big server is anonymous enough were all this stuff can be done flawlessly.
SoM was the testbed for this - Then it moved to Era. Now its a feature of the game.
I report them every single time…but that apparantly doesn’t do anything
What you write, Blizzard doesn’t hide it, he doesn’t say it openly but the facts are there. There have never been so many Bots since the opening of the Anniversary servers and by rushing the phases to TBC, Blizzard has voluntarily created a psychological climate to force the purchase of gold.
There is no conspiracy theory, it has been proven for example that Riot has developed a Matchmaking algorithm to maintain the addictive toxic side of LoL to keep its users addicted… That Blizzard just let players quietly buy gold to get the money back from Bots subscriptions is not extraordinary in comparison.
I do the same thing, but not sure how effective it is.
I also noticed that the amount of gold selling promotions in the trade chat increased quite a lot recently.
Like. What can YOU actually do besides crying on the forums? The only party that could really make a difference is blizzard but they aint gonna do it.
Dont know why you have to be such a delusional prick.
I’ve just made my peace with the situation. It is what it is and nothing will improve under Blizzard management.
Adapt, overcome and don’t worry, be happy.
I dont sell or buy gold but also I dont care about it. Not reading general chat or any except guild or instance one. No matter how much blizzard ban will always pop new accounts is neverending battle no point tho.
Blizzard stopped caring 10 years ago. I doubt they even have people on the task of fighting bots in classic. Literally zero.
Yup, In the early days of WoW you were asked if you know your character and the tactics. Now a player is asked if he know the rules of boosting. That what it has come to.
Ppl cried and we got boons for 1g. Ppl cried and we got dual spec.
So yeh, what can we do?
Actually no one asked for that.
We cried over Blizzard - again - edited by moderator a patch release up and destroyed the economy. And instead of punishing exploiters, they lowered the price.
Maybe you didn’t, but I saw others do
What are you smoking? Any reasonable person would conclude aggressive advertisement is an indicator that demand is high, and a high lotus price reflects a constant supply with a high demand. You can’t just make stuff up to support whatever you want to believe lmao.
I have seeing some person’s saying about instant bans at gold sellers and one who bought. While if that keeps going since Day 1 it’s legit the best, once since went unchecked out of nowhere start banning New purchasers and sellers will effectively make things worse. Imagine that the one who bought a lot will get huge control over economy while the one’s who playing legit without being able buy gold will never being able to catch up unless they win the jokker and that ultra Extra rare expensive drop comes. Because unless it comes they will be able buy almost nothing from AH . However blizzard didn’t banned none since Day 1 because it’s their best interest and more diplomatic.
Bots pay subs, person’s with low time available and bored heavy grind would be able roll and pay subs while getting their gold from different sources. However blizzard will ban mostly person’s that buying golds then they buy everything from a single item that is needed from AH then sell it at much higher prices . Those person’s Will most likely get banned. But the others unless they flexing a lot about it will get no bans as I say at this point no ban purchaser’s and sellers maybe only Keep bots in check is for the best while also it’s win for blizzard
not only do they camp them but they are under the map lol. Like moles
