I ran CensusPlusClassic on Stonespine between 17:30-18:34 today. Result was 8872 Horde players online. Highest level was a 54 Troll Hunter.

They’ll merge Bloodfang and Judgement if they don’t increase in population, don’t worry.

That is exactly what we need, I was about to start a topic asking for this. Luckily your post was near the top.
Would be great if there would be some sort of official statistics on this.

I think people would leave overcrowded servers more readily if they see that their destination realm has a healthy A:H ratio and decent population.

I for once was sticking to Morgraine since I initially chose it for almost 50/50 ratio (according to reddit census). Now I am pondering leaving since I see that Dreadmist, for instance, looks quite OK. 6-7k queues on Morgraine is still no joke even after Blizz improved the server capacity.

I know CensusPlus works slow but there’s a HUGE difference in server population between, for example 7PM and 9PM UTC. Really huge difference. If you want an accurate result you should check both fractions at same time of the day.

That’s how I did it. On average it takes 1+ hour per faction, so census for whole realm is taken within 2+ hour period.

Do you have a census for the big dogs? Shazzrah, gehennas, firemaw, golemagg and mograine?

Glad I didn’t roll alliance on one of the big pvp servers, good god it’s gonna be cancer when layering is gone

I keep seeing this claim, and I still don’t get it. Why would knowing this make things worst?

I think that they are afraid that Alliance leave a Horde realm, then Horde have no one to gank PepeLaugh

It’s gonna dictate which side people choose.
Instead of making people choose because of statistics, they choose because they either like Alliance or Horde more, not because 78% of the server is Alliance and 22% is Horde thus forcing them to play alliance if they want to have a chance in Battlegrounds, and in finding groups and what not.
