Factions wars

You mean racials? Sorry, the Horde does not have the advantage in that district for what? Two expansions now? But ok, I might be wrong. Please tell me which boss mechanic was undone by a Horde racial to the degree of the Castle Nathria debacle and how long did Blizzard take to fix it. I might have missed it.

…Ehh, Forgive and forget, that’s what I always say. :man_shrugging:

If the Horde racials issue are fine and dandy. There should be no issue asking for cross faction guilds for the sake of pve balance anyway. It doesn’t matter after all.

Only reason people are defending this is because they are horde and enjoy the advantage of being the most populated faction over the Alliance. And would hate to see it go.

Even though the story would remain the same. The factions would remain the same. Pvp and battlegrounds would still be in factions. All it does is solve the player population imbalance for pve gameplay purposes.

Adding cross faction guild doesn’t automatically mean we’re all going to hold hands and be best friends in the story. Or in the battlegrounds or Rp or whatever.

I’m sorry am I allowed to say this? Is that opinion okey with you?

That’s another thing I see some people forget about too.
There’s Options.
You can choose if you want to be Cross-faction or not. Play how you want to play. They aren’t forcing ya to sing Kumbaya with the other faction.

I understand their concern. That they fear the story onwards will never have faction conflict again. But if I am not mistaken blizzard said factions will still matter where it makes sense in the story. Regardless of cross faction guilds becoming a thing or not.

That in of its self means to me at least. We wont move away from factions completely. And that we will have more faction confrontations in the future.

We havn’t had a new Battleground map since BFA. XD

That was actually brought up somewhere I heard. Supposedly someone mentioned the lack of new battlegrounds. And that Blizzard doesn’t have to invent a new bg mode for every new battleground added to be justified. And blizzard agreed.

I admit my source here is from a discord conversastion  So i haven’t actually seen this Q&A or stream this happened in my self. So take this with a grain of salt. But its about time we get some new battlegrounds.

If someone burns your house, kills your family and punches your dog, you wouldn’t.

There is no forgiveness or forgetting.
The Horde will continue to kill more children - feed Alliance souls as fuel for the fel.

Because what drove the faction imbalance in the first place was Horde racials being way superior to their alliance counterparts. Players warned blizzard this would not end well and as it turns out, it did end in the Horde syphoning the Alliance player base.

So when the Horde had a 5% advantage over the Alliance during MOP, it was fine ? I get why cancelling a mechanic is broken but why was the Alliance denied some nice things to make up for what the Horde got ?

And spoiler : since Legion, racials were not the main driivng factor for players to flock to the Horde.

I’m might be cynical here but I actually thought Horde players didn’t want the Alliance players to be able to play the game and would cry on forums they’re not finding any alliance players to pvp against :x

If they need one they’ll twist a character into what they want in order to start a faction war. Neither faction is flat out evil but the horde are forced into being the aggressor when blizzard wants a faction war. Garrosh attacking Theramore made sense things were tense since wrath gate. Sylvanas and teldrassil? Less so we had just defeated the legion and things were fine

Belves and Tauren racials do cancel razgateh’s sparks. Nice to pretty much skip a mechanic on the closing boss.

I see what you did there… And maybe i am being cynical. But the reason I said this was because its usually Horde players who are the most against cross faction guilds, From Threads about faction imbalance in the past. To the ones we have today. And I can only speculate as to why that is.

And the go to conclusion is that it doesn’t affect them. They are happy as things are.

Please no more faction wars right now, they don’t make sense. The only leaders who would be willing to start a faction war right now are Turalyon or maybe Greymane, almost all the relevant horde leaders prefer peace right now after suffering 2 dictatorships.

Greymane may have mellowed now that Sylvanas isn’t in charge.

True, he seems more calm now that Sylvanas is no longer part of the Horde and since Calia made the forsaken leave Gilneas, it doesn’t make sense for Greymane to start a war also.

Also Gallywilix left the Horde at the end of BfA and now he’s neutral.

I hate that they did that with Calia, but I can’t expect to like every storyline

I don’t really think racials are an issue when it comes to a Faction War. The Horde and Alliance should adapt to their strengths. The only issue is the Blizzard writers who then kneecap either the Horde or Alliance (usually the Horde) when they need it.

Guilds operate outside of the Major Factions’ rule. Your nation could be at war but you just don’t tell the customs agent that your +1 is technically from the other side.

Speaking of Gallywillix and Greymane, it is an utter crime that BFA (which should have been a Faction War expansion) didn’t cover Azshara and Gilneas.

Imagine if the Alliance had tried to invade Orgrimmar from the North and we got to actually see that massive cannon in use!

It would have been so cool if Gilneas was liberated by the Alliance and actually took over as the Alliance’s capital while the Horde occupied Stormwind for a few patches.

Sorry if I mixed the topic up and missed the mark. But yes… racials has no influence as far as the story and lore of the factions goes. I agree.

Im just going bald about people who hates cross faction guilds becoming a thing. ‘‘cause my faction pride’’ When they can still be fans of the Alliance and the Horde all the same. PVP it out all the same. Roleplay it out all the same.

Its a solution to faction imbalance as far as I see it. But if I am wrong, I am wrong.
