You are the one doing the ignoring - ignoring the consequences of unrestricted conflict.
The Horde have always had limited resources and must breed like rabbits to keep their numbers up between the expansions. Meanwhile the Alliance have access to the strongest technology and spellcasters. The Horde would have been dismantled and all warmongers executed within one expansion.
Why did you delete your post? It was funny.
Yes the Woke stuff is weird and they are more than ever pushing the alphabet people content.
But the faction war is still an overall strong part of the WORLD of Warcraft. Many are used to seeing the other as the enemy.
Despite Blizzards attempt to push this âKumbaya hand-holdingâ across the factions.
The war per the devs assuming their not lying their pants of is done its over it ended with BFA the only thing that would make it more final is shattering the horde and alliance as factions but then how would they sell their logo waresâŚ
personally iâm glad the war stories are some of the worse ones theyâve written and as other and my self pointed out you canât win a mmo so no one will get satification from this stories
I was doing world quests on my alt named Kumon, as always killing every horde I see. Then someone whispered named âKumonkidâ, he asked me my age and I said 69. He said he was curious about psychology behind killing low levels⌠I asked " Are you mad?" said no he was just curious.
You were mad enough to create a character on my realm with sole purpose of whispering my character but you are not mad? Lieees broo
Also whenever I lvl an alt and a max level horde kill my alt I have 9 specs at my disposal, I pick the counter spec for example ShadowPri against RetPaladin and go kill them. I pacifized an undead mage so bad he probably had nightmares about it, killed the guy for hours for killing my lower level alt when I was doing elite quest, eventually I went near him on my alt and used /hello, he was a good boy now, I saw no more agression. Tamed .
There is no need for one side to win, factionalism awakens emotions of players in varying degrees. I mean go watch BfA cinematic and youâll see horde players being happy to hear For the Horde. My favourite part was beginning of siege, a regular army listening commands and executing them.
It is about visuals. The reason why BfA failed to continue its success with story is
1- The time between patches were too long.
2- Alliance were not allowed to properly answer. I have no problem with them burning Teldrassil for example but when we go to Undercity we could not reach our objective, instead Sylvanas played 6d chess and blighted the place.
Both sides should suffer losses and also earn victories it shouldnât be 1 sided like bfa. As if it is a joke they told us Alliance is winning the war offscreen, we donât care about offscreen victories, visuals are what matters, victories should be portrayed and shown ingame through quests and cinematics.
well despite what some people claim the alliance will never be able to answer properly because while they have some extremists like Admiral Rogers and Graymane the majority of the Alliance would never condon crossing the moral line and realistically the horde would become the punching bag if the alliance went all in
of course both the inept dev team and writers are team red so realistic outcomes are not expected in the end the alliance just have to many heavy hitters that would absolutely destroy us if not holding the idiot ball
Exactly. See a Horde kill a Horde.
Especially if they come to our territory. I used to hunt Horde in Orgrimmar to let them know that they were not safe.
Since Warmode came into existence so many PvE players will switch it on then get mad at you for taking them out.
The Cross-Faction group play should still be targets for pvp. Maybe have a Traitor system set up for all of these hand-holders.
You see far too many peace lovers thinking that the WAR part of Warcraft is / or should be a thing of the past.
A full scale Battle for Azeroth style conflict might not be on the cards. But a smaller scale race war can be. Like Trolls trying to carve out a new home for themselves. Stopping the Alliance from learning the secrets of stealing the power from their Loa.
Gilneans pushing against the Forsaken.
Kul Tirans vs Zandalari. Kul Tiran Shaman/Tidesages could reach out to Immerseus to learn ways of cleansing plaguelands. but then come across Queen Talanji PR campaign about the Zandalari ressurecting Lei Shen thing.
The Maghar vs Dark Irons trying to make incursions on our mountain.
Old territories being claimed by the faction or allied races.
Something for the kumbaya hand-holders and something for those that prefer the faction conflict.
Extremists can be created but I guess we donât have such capable writers here.
My favourite character from Attack on Titan is Floch Forster, he started the series as a coward (perhaps rightfully after witnessing death of comrades in a blink of an eye) then he turned into an extremist (with righteous motives and goals). We never get to see such characters in wow.
Blizzard is not demonstrating that anymore. Look at the remnants that reminde on the other side of the Dark Portal?
There was long term effects and consequences there.
Gnomes are as robust and more convicted in figuring out their own future BECAUSE of the war they lost to the troggs plaguing their own city and the adversity since where it was survival or death as a people. Even helping the Mechagnomres in this endeavour.
The Horde are known for destroying nature around them. Instead of learning to live with nature and work with it. They plague large territories or push their deforestation while Horde Druids do nothing.
Maghar Orcs turned the lush planet of Draenor into a lifeless rock.
Garrosh though he could march the Horde to Pandaria and strip it of everything. Slaves - food - wood - stone - oil and more.
A weak Alliance is just a target. You should never forget that when the Horde are in power they sacrifice the souls of Draenai children - Kidnap defenceless civilians and feed them as fuel to the fel - burn Night Elf children alive in their own homes - force others long since dead into undeath and torture them to fit Horde intentions - spread more plague territories.
You ignore the fact that the Alliance exists BECAUSE of the Horde. A force was needed that is STRONG ENOUGH to face the Horde and keep them in check. But when Turalyon led the ultimate defeat of Doomhammer. Horde was protected and even clothed - fed - housed - taken care of at the costs of Alliance tax paying citizens.
When the Zandalari navy and their King Rhastakhan was put down. The Alliance leadership chose not to push the attack. Whereas the Horde would have killed every Alliance civilian man woman and child they could find.
Empathy for the Horde is foolishness. Vigilance and caution is what is needed.
The Alliance exists because of the Horde lapdogs of the Burning Legion. That is not the new Horde we got with Thrall and his followers.
The composition and the actions of the Horde as a faction in World of Warcraft is nothing but a plot to forcefully maintain a two-faction gameplay and a Horde identity among the players.
All that bullpoop with Garrosh Hellscream is vandalising the legacy of Warcraft 3, and the aftermath of the Siege of Orgrimmar should have been the dismantling of the Horde with support from the non-orcish members of the Horde.
I am not in for empathy for the Horde and their warcrimes, I am into a faction merge that would remove the Horde as a separate faction entirely to maintain the legacy of Thrallâs Horde of honour and redemption. This means no more Horde warmongers killing children, and it means Orcs and Tauren are welcomed in Stormwind.
You speak of different generations of Horde. As if the Horde really changes from Warchief to Warchief and now a Council.
After the defeat of the Horde with Turalyon defeating the Warchief at the time the Alliance was still needed.
It is the origins but the Alliance has grown as and when.
The Horde will always have Orcish leadership. Thrall might not want to take that position now but there seems to be a pathway for his son Durak to become that some day.
Faction merger does not make any sense. The races and peoples of the Alliance and Horde are too different. You might have some neutral factions or odd times were children of the Alliance and Horde races play together. But this is just Blizzard high on the peace pipe.
As for the player base more players than not prefer the faction pride and uniqueness of the factions.
It makes sense that Vulpera wonât know much.
But the Alliance and Horde has a lot of history. Some of us donât forget and see the Horde for what they are. PR campaigns wont succeed.
Hmm? Whats that? The Alliance and the Orcs you mean⌠We have learned much since joining the Horde! And what about your hatred for the rest of us who had nothing to do with your history with the Orcs?
Our Caravans had done you nothing, Yet we where still put to the torch. The Forsaken attempted to reconcile and rejoin their families in the Alliance yet you hunted them all down for sports as vile monsters.
The Tauren of camp Taurajo where of no value to you either⌠A simple merchant village you put to the torch just because you could.
The way I see it⌠You can be just as vengeful as the Orcs of old had bloodlust⌠And just as vile.
