I haven’t been able to play at all. I work until 16.00 every day and can’t log on before 16.30, which means im online arround 22.00 if I don’t get disconnect while in que. Its pretty bad now. It was not like this before. If i knew, i would have never chosen this server.

Time and time again Blizzard stated that realm populations are not like what it was back in 2005. A realm with a population that indicates “full” in 2005 is equal to “medium” in 2020. Meaning even if you chose to play on a Medium or High realm you will still have a healthy amount of players playing on that realm.
Did Blizzard mess things up spectacularly during launch? Absolutely. Can they do anything about it now without messing the current demoghraphics of any realms? Nope.
So essentially you chose to play on that server despite Blizzard’s warnings on multiple occasions, and now you are complaining about it.
I ve been where you are, i was playing on Shazzrah and the queues were becoming unbearable. So i changed servers. Not a single instance when i have experienced something like that ever since. Do the same or deal with it.

Yes every1 who is not sitting at home the whole day can fk off cuz we aint gonna play anymore. Layering and transfers need to be anabled asap!

The people that post here are not all people that have transferred and ignored Blizzards warnings. So I don’t think your comment about people should shut and transfer is warranted. I’m a day 1 player on this server and I started this post, I haven’t transferred here yet I am one that cant play.

If you are a day 1 player like me, you also remember that the queue disappeared after a while, like many of us thought it would, and we could log in at any time.
Already there does your argument fail. Because yes they warned us early, but Firemaw seemed to solve itself.
Then something happened and now we are stuck in crap again. So right now, that argument doesn’t mean anything anymore.
It wasn’t “something” that happened. What happened was they opened up for payed transfer and A LOT of people transfered to firemaw. That should not be possible and now us day 1 player suffer for it.

I have found many players that transfered to firemaw recently because of their dying server.
People like Varghol telling it’s our fault make me crazy.

I didnt say it was your fault. I said, very clearly in fact: Change your server, or deal with it.
I said at the beginning that choosing this server was a mistake but then somebody pointed out that they have been playing there since day 1, they patiently waited for queues to die down and according to them, eventually they did. Free migration came along and the queues are up again, so, for the 3rd time: change your server or deal with it.
Im not being a stupid fan boy here either. Im just telling you that there is no possible way to solve this issue without messing up with another server’s population. If they enable free migration today then some other server will have these issues. Therefore the only way to solve this for yourselves you either pay for a transfer or start over again somewhere else.
What happened is people stopped playing, guilds disbanded and they had nowhere to go as it’s close to impossible to find a guild on a small server unless you’re a healer.
So then they looked at Ironforge.pro saw your server at the top and transferred there.
Can’t say i blame them but Blizzard should really lock all transfers to high pop servers.
Sorry but i disagree with you.
If Blizzard stopped transfer to high pop servers, then peoples only option would be to transfer to a server where a transfer was possible, which would be to servers with low - medium populations.
But by allowing transfers to high pop servers because fan boys want to queue really only works for Blizzard as people are FORCED to pay on top of their sub to move.
So Blizzard need to stop transfers to Firemaw and other high pop servers and let people move freely away to lesser populated servers. This will naturally balance everything out.
So the “change server or deal with” it is easy for someone to say who clearly isn’t on the server from either day one or on the server at all. - Can you post from your character that’s on the server rather than your retail toon?

The last time i checked was a few months ago and back then there werent any low pop servers. If there are, maybe RP servers? Pvp servers are on high demand as you all know.
Since you need validation for some reason, i played on Shazzrah for about 2 months, started with 24k queue, then it was 3 to 4 thousand, then it was stable around 200-300 on queue between 17:00-18:00, raids were starting at 19:00-20:00 so i really didnt check how much was it around those times because i was logging in earlier to avoid that. Still, not the desired amount but better than the previous ones. Now im on Pyrewood with no queue times, because i changed servers.
This is part of the issue, people making claims that just dont work.

This is the current state live in game and there is currently No queue on Firemaw, however this will change.
As one of the officers in my guild I have a responsibility for everyone in it. We need a solution for more than just 1 person here. Its not as simple as get up and run away from your problems or pay for a solution to be honest. Be a team player rather than someone who just looks after themselves and maybe we get a solution for all.
Then im sorry but you are part of the issue. You just checked those server at 13:19 ST, check them again at 19:30.
Either wait for a free migration, if or when it happens (the “deal with it” part) or convince others to go somewhere else somehow, i mean obviously you have no other choices.

Sure, there will be still PVP servers that are not high populations.
If you read my opening comment on the forum, I am asking for free migration. Paid transfers for 100+ people and their alts become an unfair and realistic ask for a guild IMO.

With 1663 in queue on Firemaw and a 99min wait.
This is unbearable. To be able to raid on any given day (mon-sun), you either have to log in super early (earlier than most get off work) and stay online by bumping your char every 20 mins, or you have to time it extremely precisely not to overshoot the queue, and be stuck while the rest of your friends are having fun in BWL.
Paid transfer is an option, yes, but not a valid one, for three reasons
- I have alts, and I’m not paying hundres of euros extra to transfer all my chars to be able to play this game.
- I have a guild that I enjoy raiding with on FIremaw, and finding a good, stable raiding guild can be quite a challenge.
- I have alot of friends on Firemaw and I know for a fact that I’m not going to be able to talk them into transfering.
And to reiterate what alot of people have been saying already: Yes blizzard warned about queues on Firemaw, but they stabilized, and were mostly concentrated around heavy raid days long before this Covid-19 thing happened, so taking advantage of that free migration window Blizzard offered required psychic powers in my opinion.
Please fix this some way or another, I don’t care how but let me play the game I have essentially paid €55 for so far.

I have just canceled my subscription, I will not be returning. I have been a great lover of WoW for years, but I have never seen such management before. Total carelessness by a multimillion dollar company that drowns the most populated server
