I’ve been playing since Legion but stopped about a year ago when my daughter was born. Looking to return but play Classic as I missed WoW when it first came out (my younger brother played it so I avoided it like the plague haha).
Wanting to be on the highest pop server (Firemaw?) for EU and just have a very casual level experience.
Am I mad? Is Firemaw the highest pop EU server? They all say low in the realm chooser.
Hopefully there’s a few people when levelling out in the world so it doesn’t feel completely barren.

Every server says low, they are clustered; essentially merged but retaining the old names.
But yes firemaw + its 9 other servers (squished to 1 server) is where people play.
No, there are no queues at all.
But if that is your concern, pick another server in that cluster, for example Ashbringer (PvP) or Mirage Raceway (PvE).
A rough guess is a 60/40 ratio in favour of Alliance on both the PvP and PvE cluster, so ally side will be more populated. Still, horde are alive and do have raiding in both clusters.
Gehennas is part of pvp cluster 2, and is quite dead.
They made two pvp clusters, but pop was struggling in the beginning.
So when they added free era transfers → everyone who payed attention went to the pvp 1 cluster.
Pretty sure there still is free era transfers btw.
Blizz should have merged both pvp clusters, no reason not to, and the community asked them for this many times but yea sadly that fell on death ears.
