Or… You know… Horde seeks out PvP, while Alliance tries to keep running past it. Cuz… You know… Dem mindset issues, bro.
Except… Not really?
Which is why they should disable the automatic matchmaking for teammates in BGs. Let everyone do full premades. Elevate the status of BGs to raids, basically.
AV premades revealed the gnome superiority, bring em back.
Yes, bring them back for everyone!
Blablablaba mindset issues blablabla. Ofc ppl with mindset issues got pushed back every time knowing they gonna loose but still fighting for 40 min +.
tell me more.

Idiosyncrasy explains that.
They’re in a situation they “know” they’ll lose, they no longer have the map to run around in, and so they’re left with only 2 options:
- The smart choice, which is to stop ressing.
- The defiant choice, which is to make it annoying for the opponents as much as they can.
The idiosyncratic behavior of choosing the “less efficient” choice only when it’s too late to do so instead of from the start, is part of the many reasons why humans are humans while robots are robots.
I will try one last time to explain it to you. It is about how honor farming works and the queue times. For alliance, because of instant BG queues, its just not worth fighting for a slow win in AV because you get more honor elsewhere unless you win fast as alliance in AV. This is REALLY what the horde has exploited (unknowingly) by forcing every game into a long game because they know for them it’s worth it but for the alliance it’s not. Then what happens is all the serious alliance PvPers just join other BGs and the queue time for horde goes above 40 min. The map has very little to do with it.
EDIT: Because of instant queues there are also more bots and AFKers on alliance.
It won’t be fixed before TBC.
Now fix your rotten defeatist mentality and play better, like alliance did at AV launch.
Sadly for you all the good alliance don’t queue up for AV, so you lose almost every game, there you have your answer.
It’s the one you don’t want to hear we know.
I don’t buy that. Plenty of amazing alliance players playing AV.
And anyway. Most ranker players I have seen in recent times are damn garbage. Ally or Horde.
And it should be clear to anyone that the map is not balanced. And it is playing in to horde hands.
Mirroring the map would have been a good start, as someone else pointed out.

Horde players have to wait 2hours to play Av.
Alliance players don’t have to wait at all.
As a result, there is a Huge gap in motivation;
As a result, the map differences makes it even more difficult for the Ally since they play like bots.
for Bots, the map is unbalanced indeed.
I’m myself a bot from alliance side trying to get exalted once gain t_t
Playing like this on Horde side is not a problem, thanks to the map.
It aint goint to get “fix’ed” period.
The horde have to wait so long in queues that they don’t PVP as much, and they fall asleep during queues.
Alliance plays all the time and are all fired up!
That logic is just a guessing game. The true reason for all motivational problems in AV is the map itself. Nothing else.
Yes it will. Once we have been heard. Nobody stands for this injustice, except (some of) you horde players ofc.

stop giving alliance tips in av, if they cant properly play thats their problem.
Let’s drop you off at the alliance side for the next year and see how well you perform. Then you can come back here to cry about the imbalance issues.

Once upon a time I remember alliance cheating their way to victory in av. I guess its hard to win without cheats.
Truth is alliance should be winning far more ab/wsg than they are. Which means horde is just simply better. Overall we got alot more decent players. Which shows even more in AV due to whatever disadvantage alliance think they have.
If we just think we have a disadvantage, how come it affects the game so much?
If the win/loss is purely mentality issues then from whence did those mentality issues come from?
And if the alliance indeed has a real advantage in WSG and AB, as you claim, then how come the horde hasn’t developed similar mentality issues in those BGs?
Because they are superior? Nonsense.

Yes cause we strive to be better than spamming forums about injustice.
But yes alliance ab/wsg is in their advantage and I guess AV is for us and we have to wait 2 hours for it. I think its ok.
This is the comment of Framp_The_Champ from a reddit thread.
It’s amazing seeing the Horde players’ responses to this. This guy comes in with the receipts: he’s got quantifiable explanations showing how egregious the win-rate disparity is and how that is almost certainly a direct result of the mathematically evidenced map advantage.
The Horde response? “nah bro we just want it more”
Nevermind the fact that even Blizzard thought this was unfair. Keep in mind that the current version of AV we’re playing was introduced at the tail-end of Vanilla, and then soon after when it was shown to be unfair it was changed in TBC so that the Horde starting cave was moved further south.
And of course back then Alliance had a win-rate advantage. Was it because better Horde players queued for other BGs leaving the weaker pool of players to lose in AV?
Naah, they said “unfair map. Erff that bridge” with no numbers to actually back it up.

If you read the post, Jaggtank brings up all the things we have brought up to you that you refused to believe in.
i actually won 2 avs today on my pally out of 5 played, the biggest trick is to actually lead them and have them listen, the map sucks for us but if the majority of the raid gets past the horde u have a good chance for win. the sad part is that a 15 min lose with 3,5k honor is better than a 40 min win with 5,5k-6k
“We can still win if we play well, but the map is still the reason we lose” is basically what you’re saying? Nice one.
