People behold this trashcan full of exploits with bugs and leave.
Then blizzard speaks with investors “Look, people do not like classic, our modern BFA is not so trashy as it seems”

The way i read it, he talks about the people who gained from the exploits knowingly. Bying stuff of the AH you can’t really know how it was obtained.

IMO, even some items bought from the AH should be reverted because the price might have been significantly lowered due to the worst exploiters… But that might be too much work

that might hit a lot of people that bought something and disenchanted it , made new enchants with it how far you want to go ? how many steps backwards
If the abusers don’t get banned for this for a very long time, everybody must abuse and then the abusing will become game mechanics, please blizzard do something! let classic be classic!

Atleast you let streamers use beta to beta test the game and not to find exploits that they can use on release to up their viewer count, Atleast they got their subs and donations for the month.

Of a bug that could be exploited?! Haha, we all know it was exploited heavily. By streamers and public community figures aswell, some of them which you told was okey to “use” the “bug” and that was 1 week ago. WHY NO HOTFIX BEFORE?
I’m just sad to see you treat your players, your fanbase, your commmunity; like this. You don’t give a sheit about us, only sub numbers. Goodbye, sincerely. 12 year old me that played the amazing game that we had been waiting for, for 15 years, which you broke before the game was even out.

Is there actually a list of methods? I’m not saying what they did was right, it’s an obvious bug. But let’s say I farm murlocs and sell their scales for 50s each because of a typo in the code that makes them worth more (no this isn’t a real one) am I breaching this because
Technically yes, but you didn’t expressly say how I can farm gold. In fact, Blizz has never expressly told us how to play the game ever. Expressly would mean there would be a list or post of approved ways to play the game somewhere. That document doesn’t exist.
Could do with a rewrite to “Methods that are dependent on bugs that are obviously unintended and used deliberately and repeatedly…” and the rest is fine.
Ok how about banning some well known streamers who abused the bug? And please dont tell me they didnt know…
None of them abused it… the only one who came into contact with this bug was Esfand and he immediately reported it afterwards.
That is half true and even lie, because you suggest his raid didnt kill those bosses again and didnt looted them, which they did.

And they cannot deny that the game doesn’t function that way - knowing what a raid is - and that it resets once a week. It’s obvious they knew.

I was watching Esfand’s stream as this was going on Asmongold and Soda wasn’t even there. (Soda is Horde btw)
Esfand didn’t exploit Molten Core either, and they had Josh Lore from Blizzard in the chat to contact Blizzard at the HQ to confirm whether or not they’re allowed to continue the raid as they patiently waited for the green light, or to be told to leave.
Blizzard allowed them to continue, saying that it was either a complication with resets or some rare bug, but obviously now in the case of Esfand, this was done by pure accident.
Check his VOD if you don’t believe me.
Edit: Esfand’s MC run wasn’t related to the layer exploit, it was a rare bug from back in vanilla too, apparently.
They also didn’t clear MC twice, only the bosses before Rag, killing Rag once.
