Some of the peps here can’t be reasoned, they want to see streamers blood so hard…
I dont care what will happen to him, I just want to play in pure classic not this mess.
BTW how could be Soda there while he is playing horde? But Soda recorded how he was farming Robe o Archmage pattern using this exploit.
So many other gilds and players were doing it, good luck Blizz solving this.
Watch the rest. Josh Lore actually contacts Blizzard devs at the office for them for further confirmation.
Also, the raid reset was NOT part of the layering exploit. They cleared part of MC and then went back the next night to finish it, and noticed bosses were reset.
This had no impact on my experience so far.
Might be because I’m on low pop server where reputation matters and layering is minimal.
He wasn’t there and I never said he was. The first comment from some guy was claiming that he was there with Asmon - just a typical uniformed “i hate da streamerz” post.
WoW exploit 101 do it early and do it often. No way in hell activision is gonna perma ban their free marketing.
they only ban ppl who are not streamers/vip
I simply don’t understand how all those streamers were pissing their pants about getting classic back and then doing their best to ruin it intentionally. Instead of showing good example they use like EVERY freaking exploit they could find. Mindblowing.
Shoulda invited more people into the beta, nice job as always Blizzard. sarcasm
You know that Streamers are good actors? They can pretend and lie ??? Or you rly belive everthing what they say?
You know that I was watching for 5+ hours while Esfand was live while it was happening and know more about the situation than most people here waving their pitchforks “BAN DA STREAMERS!!!” though?
Blizzard have just fixed the exploit and are also going to ban those who exploited the layering to gain an advantage, like those who made 10k+ gold from it and BiS gear, but oh no, let’s just ignore that and pounce on the streamers, right?
Any opportunity for people to attack the streamers and the anti-streamers jump on it. It’s so ridiculous.
A lot of it isn’t free marketing…
Removal of all ill gotten loot should be obvious. Repeating offenders and people intentionally resetting raids should get a solid smack with the ban hammer. Anyone doing it were intentionally trying to get a big advantage over other players which could last all the way into phase 6.
all i say i feel sorry for you.
Thanks! have a nice day ![]()
Might set on a gnome… Now that’s ban hammer worthy
Streamers that abused the exploit will get the ban hammer with anyone else that did it, the last major exploit that had streamers involved all got the ban hammer including some of the bigger youtube people, so we’ll see what streamers are innocent in the coming days. I hope everyone that did this exploit gets a harsh punishment
Also, in before streamers and players start crying that they did nothing wrong and was just using the games mechanics
Yeah Blizzard has banned plenty of streamers and famous WoW players. Still I think people will be disappointed because the ones they would like to see ban didn’t necessarily really exploit this.
Because none of what you said has any proof or substance to it. It’s standard exaggeration and hyperbole WoW forum posts vastly overstating the “damage” layering is doing.
Blizzard has already come out and said that no one mass exploited herbs or nodes and (as usual) people on here are vastly over exaggerating possible “damage” done.
I understand how economics works, I just meant you seem to be going off of nothing but vitriolic forum anger and hear say, feeding the echo chamber.
Also lol @ the guy that disregarded my post because “I play retail”. I can switch to my classic character if that somehow makes any sort of difference. My point isn’t that I don’t understand the damage it can cause, it’s that the damage that has been caused is 100% over exaggerated and talked about in a completely over the top nonsensical manner. No one is running around with bags full of herbs and nodes. Even Blizzard has said this.
