Flamelash, the first server to die

Yea that does not ENSURE all the players get informed also, because one could simply not pay attention, not being logged when such message pops in etc

Apparently the transfers have been avaliable for months, i (as a player), was not made aware of this.
This is a clear issue with the way Blizzard is relaying important information.
What part hare you having trouble understanding?

I’m having trouble understanding how can one expect to be informed without actually even trying to inform himself

it was apparently Rushest, but the figures i’m getting from census (my friend is ally) is that it’s more like 2:1 ally now
i just know there are legions of allys zerging horde at all levelling areas :frowning:

I’m suggesting that a server doesn’t die by accident, perhaps the cause of this lies in somewhere not even close to Blizzard

You know when they plan a maintenance every weds and that box pops up on your character select and login screen?
That.

Your reasoning is that i should be expected to go out of my way to search for information that i do not know exists?
Why would i be on the forums looking for information on transfers when i am not even made aware of the base knowledge that transfers are open.
Your are talking s##t.

Can’t be anymore true than this

Can’t be anymore true than this

The issue i have with comments like this, is that the tryhards that were camping flightpaths and boats are the same tryhards that frequent the forums and stay in the loop of realm drama, and are now over on earthshaker doing the exact same thing
 they dont give a s##t.

The people who are suffering are the people who are stuck here after not being avaliable / aware of what was going on.

You are just clueless, everyone should just check forums from time to time exactly for this, you don’t check for informations, you check if there is new information.
Do you check if a company is hiring or you wait for said company to contact you saying ‘hey bud, we have just started hiring’

What can I say, i’m sorry for you? You are partially paying the consequences of your trash faction’s actions, simple as that, and the remaining part for not getting informed at all

if i am not looking for a job i do not search for jobs.
if i am not looking to transfer i do not search for transfers

I dont play this game enough to be in the loop of this server drama, and the fact that you think it is my own fault that i am now stuck on a dead server becasue i was not keeping up to date with external news sources is retarded.

I got job this way :slightly_smiling_face:

Personally,

I like to think I am not part of the problem.

But even if i was, you cannot punish people like that.

You can make conditions better yes, I totally agree.

You cannot punish people though.
Punishing a whole realm is not a solution.
Punishing collectively all the Horde left in the server is not a solution.
Punishing is not a solution in general.

What has been made better now? Nothing if you look at it subjectively; made some peoples experience better yes
but have ruined the experience for an equal amount of people

I find it quite unlikely that you haven’t read ANYWHERE of from ANYONE in your realm about transfer, or the possibility of. Seeing 1 alliance each 10 horde didn’t ring a bell? I then envy such naivety.

A 70/30 inbalance is bad with 100 or a 1000 players, total population is not the issue here.

The issue is we have 15 years of game knowledge, we know everything. And everyone went horde because is the perceived stronger choice, as on retail.

It was widely expected and the only solution was to hard cap the population, or use sharding/layering to balance out, both changes that the community refused, either because they don’t want caps to play with their friends (understandable) or because of “nostalgia fanaticism” (not understandable).

i am getting annoyed that i have to explain my personal situation to you.

I work nights and late shifts and usually play in the early morning, where i dont expect to see swarms of alliance.

quite unlikely =/= impossible ???!??!

Man what do you meeaan man

That punishing everyone in the Horde like this is ok?

Firstly you put all the players of the Horde in the same sh@t basket.

Secondly, you cannot punish a bunch of people like that.

Who told you the remaining horde are all the gankers ahahah.

Cmon man gankers would be the first to know and the first to leave

No one punished you, you basically punished yourselves

You can be happy all you want.

It just shows how little you are as a person.

I have stated that i do undestand the problem from the Alliance side.

But i am really against the solution that was implemented as it ruined other peoples experience.

It might not be the main issue but is one of the biggest ones. If you had the population we had back in Vanilla, even on a 70/30 server, the dominating faction just didn’t have the numbers to camp everything.

The problem right now, is that the servers are so insanely crowded, that the dominating faction has every single freaking place on lock out.
All FPs camped, boats, BRM (ALL OF IT), dungeon entrances, inns in main cities. All at the same time, 24/7, not by 2 or 5 people, but full raids.

This just stupidly exacerbates the imbalance issue.
