Ok yeah your right it is about Blizzard allowing returning player to enjoy content they may never of experienced before, without reducing the speed at which they level.
Its old content any way, as long as BFA pathfinder is untouched it makes no difference to most people, the blizzard philosophy around pathfinder is forcing people to experience content, content that they’ve created, not allowing people to fly in WoD or legion is making that content…
Content that will be avoided and therefore not experienced by a lot of players if taking out pathfinder for old content is the price to pay to make it accessible to everyone… so be it.
The meta Achievement is still going to be there… and I’d argue that the WoD one is still worth doing Cos I want the Mount, I’ve got legion and BFA already and in all honesty the only one to be pissed about is the legion one all it is, is a speed boost… and as a paladin/DK or even a Mag’Har Orc it doesn’t do a whole lot really.
That’s a very selfish boomer way of looking at it tbh…
I earned both the hard way and I have no issue with this at all. Ofcourse there are a bunch of whiners as usual, I’m sure they would have no problems having transmogs and mounts etc that they didn’t earn in the expansions removed aswell.

I did legion pathfinder and it was fun, it just grew naturally out of the levelling and storyline. But I look at draenor Pathfinder and just stare in shock at the sheer volume of what we have to do. I don’t even know where to begin with it.
So I’m happy for this. You still have an incentive for rep grinding in the form of the only still-obtainable(?) Chimera mount in the game. But for those of us who just want to see the world, accept that and move on.

Mounts should be slower, zooming around that fast is too much.
Meh not too bothered, it only affects a small handful, most people have account bound pathfinder anyway and it will mean less over dramatic whine posts on the forums screaming “WHY BLIZZARD WHY DO I NEED PATHFINDER!!! WHY???”.

Yeah, Blizzard gave in and deleted half of the requirement of flying from 2 and 3 expansions (6 and 4 years) ago. Absolutely disrespectful towards us, our hard work, tears and sweats. I don’t know how i will sleep from now on, knowing that plebs will start playing this game and will be able to fly on Draenor and the Broken Isles.
Now jokes aside, your comment just shows how people overreact about everything Blizzard does, and at this point i can’t tell if it’s funny or pathetic. Who in their right mind cares about what they do with flying in heavily outdated content? It doesn’t affect anything.

I like this change. Obligatory I do have all the pathfinders comment.
And really, if Blizzard was just gonna make flying available after a set amount of time into an expansion a lot of people would just wait with playing it, or simply unsub after doing the first new shiny stuff. After all, Blizzard do need to make money as a company, even though I don’t always agree with the way they do it. But I think pathfinder is a pretty decent compromise of having to play the game before being able to use short-cuts.
