I am talking about unreasonable grind required for players that want to do different form of content, in which the grind is required in order to have a chance to compete.
Were you playing without legendary?

Having or not having it on PvP for my guardian druid is the same, I only have 1 lego that is the trash one.
It’s not.
Not when you don’t want to be amongst bottom 1% of players.
And game shouldn’t be designed just for the bottom 1%.
At this point its just not worth the argument,
but what i will remind you simply put.
if this games accessibility is continuing getting harder, Less and less people will play resulting in a low population and game
this is a game which you are suppose to derive fun from playing not doing chores
99% of times is a skill issue, is not having the legendary who makes you on bottom 1%
It may make you on top 90% and not on top 99% that is truth.
if you didnt have a legendary id run circles around you, thats just facts. you wouldnt stand a chance lol
Like if a legendary who gives me like 100 shield (1v1 scenario) every 4 seconds would be the reason for whether I win or lose.
It absolutely is.
It requires both skill and correct legendary.
I did way more PvP than you.
There is no competetive 1v1 PvP mode.
Exactly.
Some people don’t want to be bottom 1%, but they don’t want to be forced to do 1 month of gameplay of the content they dislike in order to be allowed in the content that they want to progress in.
If you play PvP, you should get better (skill and gear) by playing PvP.
Currently you’d be at large disadvantage that is overcome only by NOT playing PVP for until month later if you farm something you may dislike every day.
That’s unreasonable.
i respect that you have an opinion but its not factual
We will never agree anyways.
if you spent as much time pvping as you do on the forums you would understand
and i do mean the most respect with that comment
yes, because you have no argument and speak for bottom 1% of people
not for average person that understand that they should get a legendary (2 legendaries in next patch) if they want to have a decent chance to win, as they can’t have that without
even r1 players are losing when they have severe gear disadvantage and even they have to farm 1 month of different content that they hate, because otherwise even they wouldn’t win
but sure, YOU don’t mind as the people are forced into content that YOU don’t mind and you simply lack empathy to these people
imagine that you’d have to first win 10 rated arenas every day for a month before you could enter new zone
required
That’s not what’s happening though.
You CAN do M+, PvP or whatever content you wish. You don’t NEED the grind.
Move past it. Ignore players who say it’s required (and make your own groups that do NOT use these dumb requirements). Be the change this game needs.
You know the game does match you against players that aren’t from your own group when you do PvP, right?
But sure, you’re not required to do it. You can also quit the game. Which many players will choose to do if this goes live.
But there is like 10 players playing pvp
so blizzard will not do anything about it
it’s sad what happend to pvp
So change your silly argument. You don’t want to be able to ‘play’ certain content.
You want to win. You want to ‘stomp newbs’. You want to ‘own the ladders’. Be truthful.
You can play the content you mention just fine without that grind. What you actually want, requires more work and dedication because not everyone can be a winner.
people still play despite these steps that hurt the game and make most players quit
but hey, there’s less and less amount of people exactly because of these grinds that players don’t want to do, as they wish to do the content they like
I do play PvP still, 2v2, 3v3 and RBGs and we can even be matched against enemy groups.
But with these changes like 25% of players I know will quit, 25% will ignore it just to find themselves on extremely uneven field so they’ll quit too, just bit later, and rest 50% will grind it and hate it.
I don’t get it why power progression is locked behind some stupid dailly activities. In the past power curve was only about gear. Nowadays you have conduits, legendary items, soulbinds and a lot of other crap.
These things are not imporving the experience or gameplay of classes. Instead Blizzard could re-implement old talents as passives of choice giving more customization while reserving new talents for active spells. For whatever reason they prefer to lock us in Azeroth doing chores we don’t enjoy. I’m sorry but doing callings to farm renown isn’t really a fun thing. Games are meant to be fun and provide entertainment not force you to spend time dailly. “But this is an MMO” is a stupid argument. While I agree we spent a lot of time in old expansions we did it on farming professions that were optional because you could just earn gold and buy these items. Farming reputations that were less invasive to farm and we actually got them playing the game - look at TBC where only small part of reputations require dailly quests and they aren’t even mandatory for progression.
Nobody enjoys current WoW and none of the changes they implemented and follow post WoD are good besides M+. Borrowed power sucks and I can’t understand why devs are so convinced it’s the only way to make the game good. I feel they are trying to milk as much with lowest amount of resources. They even provide 1 set accross all content in 9.2 while in the past we had both Raid and PvP sets. Again - lack of resources?
Forcing people to be logged in doesn’t mean people will spend more money or that company earns more. A lot of people will stay subbed even if they can play 3 days a week. @WoWDevs you are actually lowering the number of subs this way.
Those can be at least also acquired elsewhere (tho at way worse rate) and don’t require you to log in every day.
If the Reputation for legendary was given by doing PvP, then it’d be fine.
Factually not true.
Completely subjective.
Yeah… And TBC was, imo, THE worst expansion so far.
So, no I don’t want to go back to something like that.
