I thought this was about a compensation for damages, not making them punish themselves which makes zero sense from a business perspective: “Hello, dear customers, I know it won’t impact you but I decided to throw some money down the drain”.

100% with you. The false promises is unacceptable. They should’ve advertised “Long terrible queues”. Creating your character beforehand was useless, as you still land in the queue. I haven’t been this disappointed in a long time. Amped AF after work to wait in 3hr queue…

You dont pay anything for classic nothing 0 eu. You pay for retail sub is for retail not for classic.
When wow was new in 2004 05 06 we often got free days because there was server isues or queue isues.
When maintenance wass hours longer then it should be we got free gametime aswell.
Maybe thy will give it but i doubt it because as i said before you dont pay anything for classic its free.
The queue for classic is bad tho i play on apve server mirage raceway queue was around 3k yesterday evening at 22h30 but there was no queue this morning.

Except there’s no way to only pay for Classic, Blizzard put it behind the paywall of the subscription for BFA so even if Blizzard says I’m paying the subscription for BFA, it’s not what I am paying it for like many other people. We pay for Classic, we don’t give a damn about BFA. You don’t get it for free, it’s still behind a paywall.

This comes from blizz therms of use or whatever it is called. So no thy dont owe you nothing.
You agreed to this when installing wow bfa or wow classic.
Read it specially the first part.
Yes i understand being in 10k queue is bad and you want to play the game etc etc.
It still wont change anything you me or we all agree on when installing the game.
