Fyrakk HC is too difficult for the current meta of non-voiced uncoordinated way of PuGging

the problem is fight itself isn’t hard but not everyone cares enough to read the mechanics beforehand so people fail . the biggest issue here is one people can wipe the raid, that happens multiple times in fyrakk fight, with pools in p1 or dispells if you’re a bad healer, burning the souls in p2, tornados in p3 . blizzard designs these fights with focus on guild experiences so they become painful with pugs . i believe that mechanics should be more like group soaks / healing the souls in fyrakk p2 etc. so good players can do more if they want to .

yeah that’s my point, Breaths, more or less.

Sounds like you want good players to be able to carry bad ones through a HC fight. It’s already possible. You just need to pay them gold then jump off the platform.

I think it just comes down to the ratio between boosted and progressed people.

It’s just become common to excuse people messing up tactics by claiming they have been boosted. Without there being any actual evidence. People can just be bad.

Addons show us what progress people have. If you queue up with 1/9 Hc and it’s only Fyrakk, sure that’s going to look like a boosted person. My alt looks like that. I was already loot locked on Fyrakk, so I brought an alt so they could have the extra loot option. So she’s done LFR, 2 Nm clears and just one Hc boss :dracthyr_hehe_animated:

You underestimate how many mythic+ players get 480 ilvl, have no clue what they are doing, buy curve, and then apply for fyrakk-only heroic. That’s all 100% Blizzard faulty design in multi-dimensional ways. Blizzard designers have been screwing pugging up on many layers.

Not to mention fights where mechanical responsibility is handed to individuals increase the odds you invite someone who doesn’t actually know what they’re doing. It’s pretty easy to get carried when every meaningful contribution or opportunity to make a mistake passed you by for someone else.

Oh, another one. You think you are bright to suggest that huh?

I’m just calling it as I see it. You want a fight to be dumbed down to reduce individual responsibilities because “it’s a pug and people are clueless”.
The answer is: nay
Content needs to be accessible, not easy.

You expect to be able to reliably oneshot farm a HC endboss in a pug every week? You’re free to give it a try. But there’s no obligation for blizzard to cater to you.

I’d like not to be dragged down by ONE single pepega in a pug. And that’s what this design brings in.

Welcome to competitive content I guess?

Idk, I said it like 20 times now - other bosses don’t seem to provide this fascinating mechanics of 1 person wiping the entire raid on heroic with 1 single mistake.
As a result of this statement, mongols come and say “ooga booga you want LFR”

This is difficult to even continue any debate then.

Lol, what?

A tank can easily wipe the raid on Nymue by making a mistake.

the difference is huge - I know what mistake you think about but
tanks are usually “better players” - since there is a lot of responsibility on them and bad players avoid this role.
Also - it’s actually 2 specific players in a raid - easier to manage the role - on Fyrakk - you have as many players as raid members that can wipe you.
on most bosses tank mistakes can be recovered. Like 1 mushroom exploding on Tindral won’t usually wipe the raid. Mistimed taunts might result in tank deaths but you have CR etc…

It only happens less often because there’s less people playing the role, meaning less people to make a mistake. There’s 2 tanks in a raid. There’s 9-14 dps in a pug and then 3-5 healers, meaning you have a 12+ people that can make a mistake that can wipe the raid outside of the tanks screwing up.

that’s basically what I implied lol

That’s great, so this is about DPS players not wanting the responsibility of the other two roles. They just want to focus on dodging some stuff that (in the worst case) kills them, and zug zug. Awesome.

mistakes by healers or tanks in 19 out 20 cases on bosses can be recovered by a simple CR, don’t try to exaggerate anything here.
You are pretty dim to draw the conclusions you draw.

And if you’re trying to be personal at me - I play all 3 roles on various characters so get out.

Pugging Fyrakk on hc and raid leader goes “Any volunteers for seeds?” - total silence. Then he force assigns people to it and if they don’t do it, they get kicked.

I see no issues with that
