Ganking lowbies

I personally don’t gank lowbies but I don’t have anything against people who do.
Although I have recently found it quite funny to vipers sting any low lvl Mana users I pass.

Not 50+ but yeah.

'Cause killing gnomes will never not be funny, plus making the lowbies cry is how you attract the big game and start some real fights.
Sometimes they complain about it here too, then it’s even funnier.

Disgraceful, if you see a mage you have a FAP and stab him in the face as fast as humanely possible (he’s probably in it for the easy grind and WPvP whilst leveling anyway, teach him a lesson), the less mana the better.
Clearly playing a rogue is not for you.

Why? You know that “Alliance” means “alliance players” and they surely did not gather together to plan and send that one level 60 rogue that killed you at level 40.
Also you can be Alliance or Horde with a push of a button.

You may say that in game you have a choice - you choose Alliance or Horde, and now you kill everything because you are roleplaying an evil character.
Else, if you just kill lowbies because “they are red!” or “Alliance does the same!” - no comment. I’m not saying not to kill any low level, just that these above reasons are - kindergarden.

This generalization is the reason we have real wars in the real world. Also you may say “I love my country, the enemy is evil”, but so does everyone, in every country. WoW shoud teach people that they can be Alliance or Horde, (meaning they could have been born in a different country). And that killing every low level player is just roleplaying as evil/insane/traumtized etc, it cannot be reasoned in another way.

I predict that until the day when everyone behaves on a WoW PVP server as OP, (and myself - I do the same), we will have conflict irl.

I gank because it gives me erotic pleasure.

It’s a better reason than “red is dead” and “alliance did the same”.

Oh really? Have you considered that perhaps ganking gives people a slight amount of amusement? Do you not play games to keep yourself amused?

Furthermore:

That is without doubt one of the single most stupid comments I have ever read in my entire life, and I’ve been on these forums for a long time.

Don’t get me started. Read about the “Christmas truce” in WW1. Christmas came and soldiers (French and German) started to befriend each other. Some games, some drinking, until the generals came and said “You are French you are supposed to kill the Germans”, and the reverse.

This proves that hating another because of his country, is not even in human nature, is just propaganda used to start wars.

Completely and utterly irrelevant. I’ve got something much better for you to read than the Christmas Truce. Here it is:

World of Warcraft is a game

Hard to believe right? Have you considered that ganking is part of the fun? Have you considered that the element of danger from getting ganked might be fun? No you haven’t, because you’re a fool that’s trying to disguise himself as a wiseman.

Stop overthinking simple truths. This is a game, it is fun. That is all, nothing more. No deep psychology, no propaganda, no World War 1 history; just gameplay.

Fun PVP is the reason I am on a PVP server. Sometimes PVP is fun.

This thread is about ganking lowbies - I find no fun in that, and no ammount of ganking by higher levels can make me change my mind about that. Unless I start to roleplay the “traumatized soldier” or something, else - I just don’t feel like it. And psychology is everywhere.

That’s nice dear. I find no fun in casters and I find no fun in hunters, whether playing as, with or against. Does that mean people who do find fun in that are bad, because I personally don’t like it?

No, it means different people enjoy different things.

That’s nice dear.

What you do is of absolutely no relevance to me, or the person that ganked you, or the future people that are going to gank you.

I said deep psychology.

This is a game, people do things in games that they find entertaining. Plain and simple. If you don’t like that, too bad. You don’t get to dictate how other people have fun.

Call it “fun” when you gank lowbies, don’t call it “I have real reasons!”, and I won’t comment on that.

So doing something for fun in a game that you play FOR FUN isn’t a real reason?

Go home Grokboy, you’re drunk.

Read what I said. Fun is a valid reason. (If you say that’s your reason I will not comment, hope it’s clear enough).

Sorry to tell you, but if your idea of fun is acting like a jerk picking of people who cant fight back, chances are pretty high that you are just that, a jerk.

By that logic, should rogues not fight hunters? Perhaps mages shouldn’t fight anybody?

“Fair” is an illusion. The knowledge that somebody could gank me at any point is what adds a layer of dangers to the game; knowing that I have to compete for what the game offers, whether the competition is fair or not.

“Jerk” is also a completely relative term. Personally, I think that somebody who tries to dictate what other people do is a jerk.

If you pick on people who cant fight back, you are a bad person. No matter if you do it in a game or real life.

Plus, if you do it in game, chances are the only reason you dont do it in real life is because you cant.

its fun stop crying. the only jerk here is you who tells other what to do

9 of 10 people agree that group bullying is super fun

you dont sign up voluntary for bullying also you are free to leave the stage anytime in WoW

In other words, you didn’t read a damn thing I said.

Let me guess, your next response is going to be something along the lines of “my dad can beat your dad up”?

Killing somebody in an online game is not bullying. Repeatedly killing them and stopping them from being able to play? Sure, that’s bullying. But killing somebody on the opposing team as you pass by? Please.
