Going into low level zones to camp leveling player is exactly that.
You specifically responded to me, the person who said:
How is that even remotely the same as
If I wanted to roam the world and pretend that nobody around me existed then I’d play a single player game, or Battle for Azeroth.
Isn’t Redridge an alliance zone, means you need to be flagged for PVP for the horde to attack you?
Just another great example, a whole group of level 60 Alliance players is currently hunting questers in Arathi Highland on my server.
And not just kill squad, they grief with fears, mana drain and stuns. Yeah, thats totaly not bullying…
I gank low levels so nerds go cry on the forums till they swap to a pve server.
I rerolled to warlock after getting bored with constant drinking on my mage. When I level now, most PVP is just against lvl ?? who kill lowbies trying to quest. I don’t understand what kind of fun or satisfaction they get from it, but neither am I too bothered to occasionally corpse run. I play on pvp server after all.
On a side note, I also managed to repeatedly kill lvl ?? rogue that tried to gank me with a help of another rogue around lvl 30, which is an amazing situation I hardly thought ever possible and provided me tons of fun.
So the point is just take it for what it is or go to PVE server.
I’ve been ganked so many times while lvling horde completely dominates Wpvp and is in the vast majority on my server (Shazzrah) questing doesn’t feel like a option often anymore since you will get wiped so there is more quests mobs for the horde.
Hordes are camping BRD 24/7 there is standard 2 rogues as well to wipe out any alliance trying to pass.
And you know what? it’s fine it’s they’re right but i will not hold back ganking lowbie hordes and prevent them from getting stronger, i do not camp lower level players unless there is a good reason to
In the end, I like to help people, and knowing my leveling existance in the game just gave someone whos life ins miserable enough to consider lowie ganking a good use of his time a small moment of happiness makes me feel good at the end of the day.
I mean, I cant imagine how much ones life must suck to become a bully, neither in real life or in a game.
I mean, let be real here, when you claim that you gank because “I was ganked before!” why dont you just go to STV or other gank heavy leveling zones and pick up the level 40+/50+ that run around there and gank people?
That way you would actually gank the people who deserve it. But nope, you go to low zones and gank those who dont deserve it.
I’m going to low zones ATM to explore the map. Stonetalon mountains last night, I killed a lot of low levels but I did have reason to be there.
I gank and camp people because your faction does it to me when they have the advantage, and I keep a score. Every time a horde tries to kill me I will camp a lone horde for about 10 minutes.
I don’t care what your opinion on ganking is. I gank people of my own level too, or even of higher level because as rogue I can get the advantage and start the fight when I want.
It’s just wpvp, it’s usually not fair. It’s not a duel.
And why do you do that to people who are just questing instead of going where lower level gankers run around to gank the gankers?
Your logic is basically “I got beaten up by a bigger kid in school, so now i go and beat up a preschooler in return!”
Happens a lot on PvP servers - there’s always some low self-esteem neckbeard going around at max level picking on lower level players. It’s just always going to happen. We all hate it, and there isn’t always something we can do about it.
Had it the other day in Badlands - ?? Orc Shaman going around seeing if he could global lowbies. We all got sick of the corpse runs, so we banded together and beat the crap out of him - repeatedly - until he just logged off. As Blizzard will tell you, PvP problems have PvP solutions.
Spot on. People who play to make other player’s online time miserable are bullies, and also cowards hiding behind a screen to be a$$hats.
What if… i pick on somebody because of what they have done? I.e. if they have bullied my kids at school, i will wipe the floor with them, their parents, their dog, you, your mother and father, and what not. Im not a bad person because of that, i just give some serious payback.
However, ganking just because you can, is the same reason i wish for no alien should discover us - there are no payback waiting if they wipe us out.
I never rage too much because I see people of my own faction doing the same.
My mentality is if I have to die, I will at least go down kicking and screaming, even if I’ve just annoyed them with a slow or a cast time increase. Or on the Booty Bay boat - if the predictable lvl60 Priest is on board, just go and run laps around the inside of the boat so its impossible for them to get an MC cast off. The best part is they can’t even take their anger out after you jump off because they’ll get battered by bruiser NPCs.
Thats one of the main reasons I like playing Lock. The VW sacrifice shield allows me to upset people quite a few levels higher and the PvP toolkit makes me a slippery fish. Anybody who has roots, slows or debuffs, use them. Don’t allow anybody a free gank. A temporary slow might not mean much to a lvl60 but they will notice and start angrily hammering their space bar
And your logic is to come to the forums crying because you got ganked in a PvP game and tell everyone who ganked you that they are a bad person and they made you cry, instead of just doing something about it.
You can say what you like about the way that I play, idc, because your character, your time I waste and your opinion about it mean nothing to me.
Everyone in this thread whining about gankers should roll PvE because they can’t handle PvP.
Only way alliance can kill someone. Same as when they only seem to attack you when you sit down to eat after a big fight to heal with 100hp left. That’s all Ian e for you. Scum.
And that is why you should kill them whenever you see one. Even if they are lvl 1.
For the Horde!
real question is why gnomes stink.
i remember PVP servers in 2005 behaving much more maturely.
sure you had your griefers and gankers, but they were mostly the sad, pathetic people no one wanted to associate with, they had, for the most part, a bad name within their own faction as sad losers who couldn’t face up to real challenges.
the situation has changed in 2019, ganking and griefing seems to be accepted behavior now. all you can do if you don’t like it is move to the PVE servers
