Homophobia is incompatible with a love for freedom. Everyone against gay marriage is against freedom of expression and the freedom to marry whoever you love.

I’m LGBT+ and this made me cringe, we need to get away from this mentality of othering ourselves from hets. LGBT+ people are not special because they are not het.

Playing devils advocate here, the argument is God created humanity free of sin and we rebelled because he endowed us with free will, therefore doing stuff God doesn’t like is us just us distancing ourselves from God.

Accordiing to christianity, when Jesus died all sin both past and future, were forgiven.

The ideas of God and Free Will are both inventions of human culture. Being gay is not, and is, therefore, more “normal” than believing in either of those two abstract concepts.

That’s a bit of a misunderstanding, Jesus dying forgave humanity of its original sin,(Adam and Eves eating of the fruit of the tree of knowledge). It was a clean slate. Not an excuse to do as you please because Jesus is dead.
