Itâs aight, being weary of DH RPers seems pretty common, and for good reason.
And I wasnât referring to one single person, more like in general and experiences I had in the past, with written accents in RP.
There was this one guy who was playing a worgen and they did such a ridiculously overexaggarated gilnean accent, I had to make my character ICly not understand because I just couldnât, for the life of me decipher their text. Like, duuude they speak âcommonâ as their native language. How can he be so bad at it? And there isnât even text in game giving gilneans a written accent, like trolls or dwarves, is there?
And even with those two, I think the best thing to do is trying to consistently mirror in game writing, yâknow what I mean?

No⌠not really. They try doing a written british accent. Which is horrible. Saying âYaâ for âYouâ and stuff like that, it makes no sense.

Yes, but the greater cost is to finally and irrevocably apply Blizzards new lore to my old writing and have Mari banished for doing what she did lorewise going through expansions into Legion.
Oceans of overflowing drama to go with it, sheâd enter a new phase in her story thatâs entirely new but anything is better than the total stagnation since the prepatch. It keeps me from writing.
It has more to do with blizzard forcing change on my writing with the only other option being total character retirement out of ambiguity within the lore. And I should hope that nobody wants that.
Itâs not, though. But it is a natural consequence of her IC research if I am to apply any workable timeline to my writing.
Iâm not happy but itâs all I have to go on now.
Shadow magic isnât seemingly void magic. Valeera Sanguinar in Before the Storm uses Shadow Magic, as a seemingly separate entity. You have a firm out there.

Tbh, Iâve seen blood elf void practicioners who just keep it a secret.
Or not that secret⌠High Astromancer Solarian in Tempest Keep could already turn into a voidwalker. Also Elsaana, a nice Draenei lady in Temple of Telhamat mentions how blood elves of the Sunfury consume the energies of Outlandâs voidwalkers to power their magicsâŚ
Of course, the Blood Elves of Outland were bad guys? I think. Hard to sayâŚ
Whats their status at the moment? They were pardoned as misguided victims of Kael or sentenced to death or exile by their Azerothian brothers and sisters?
