You don’t think this is a pretty easy issue to solve? If your whole thing against removing depletion is this, I think you don’t have a very strong case. Depletion has no benefits, it doesn’t even matter if you think removing it doesn’t change a lot, the positives outweigh the negatives and your scenario can be prevented by simply introducing conditions.
That is your opinion, I have shared mine. I don’t agree with you and you don’t agree with me.
I don’t see that shifting the toxic behaviour is a solution.
As always the solution to the leavers whether it’s keyholder or random member of a group, is to play with friends/guildies/communities. So nothing changes. The problem remains the same, it just shifts.
Yes, it is. So you agree then?
Key depletion extends to a lot more than that. There are people who want to play methodical, slower paced challenging dungeons. And like I said, you’ve created a problem that could exist with the current system without having the foresight to consider that the current system isn’t set in stone.
Whatever you say, the current system has been unpopular for a long long time and no longer serves a real purpose. Key depletion is pointless.
and she said
so what part is hard for you to understand?
Still better then the system we had at Legion of it being a dead key totally and begging people to join it.
Tbf if your talking about raiding or keys having curve or ksm or above shows you know what your talking about. Hence leavers posting on alts not connected to main or hidden on io
You’re better than that.
They want me to agree with their view, which I don’t.
I can accept that they feel it’s better but as I’ve explained I don’t agree, it doesn’t solve anything IMO, there is no benefit and the pug scene will remain just as problematic as it is now. If anything both keyholders and party members will no longer feel any inclination to stay. Pugs will find groups disbanding due to leavers or being removed. It will still take some a considerable time to get into keys/find a successful run.
The only people that benefit are the ones that play with friends/guildies/communities who already have the benefit of not having leavers in keys.
Why would they do that when they make nothing from fixing the issues and at least £70 from the mount?
You’re better than to not know Punyelf edited his post after I made that reply.
To be fair, leaving won’t matter if there’s a delve like system, so it doesn’t matter how many leavers there are, just run the key again.
I did edit my post to elaborate but I’m really just repeating myself in these discussions, my views haven’t changed, nor did I expect you to change yours.
“She” has no edit icon next to the post (like yours has if you want to see an example of it)… but ok.
It’s honestly the most interesting solution I’ve seen proposed tbh.
“She” just confirmed what I said, this is not a conspiracy. “But ok” Indeed. And yep I edited my post to respond to said edit.
I hit reply then added to the answer, it was straight away so no icon.
However I don’t think it really changes that the two of us simply don’t agree on the issue. Which is fine ofc, I just need to stop repeating myself but it’s hard when being asked the same thing over and over.
When I think about it Mythic + is the most RNG laden system we currently have.
- You have to hope you get the right key
- You have to time it (Or if not, hope no-one leaves)
- You have to pray the item is in the chest
The delve answer would really help with this
Yes would be great
Key depletion is just silly really - no one cares about this except the key holder, and it’s just annoying as they have to build the key back up again.
No one says “well I depleted less keys this season, what an achievement” and no one cares about this.
Timing keys and upgrading (and gaining score) is the only thing people care about.
I have a massive amount of Xbox games to play. I’ve only heard of POE2 because people here talk about it.
can’t believe people are still finding excuses for this abomination of a system to not change
