Getting "forced" to raid and devalue m+ dungeon content

If you’re still playing with ‘gear score’ brain people then you’re likely still pugging

If you’re still pugging then you aren’t going for title in m+

If you aren’t going for title in m+ then you don’t need to load your char with giga bis full 639 ilvl gear

If you don’t need to load your char with giga bis full 639 gear, then no one is forcing you to mythic raid

Remember that you’re playing a game, OP

by this logic dueling people in durotar is harder than raiding in RWF

I just dont like raiding. In groups of 20 you have less personal responsibility. Raiding is more scripted. You use basically no stuns, interrupts, slows, cc. In M+ you use way more, need to be more flexible (need to find out without weekly changing affixes how it will be from this season), etc.

I am playing my char way more in M+. I am actually on voice speaking with my group, while in raiding you need to say nothing and let 1 person do the callings… I don’t know. Raiding is just not fun content for me.

That’s also something I’ve noticed, yes. In raids you usually just are dead silent because there’s this one guy shotcalling everything (there are also just too many players to allow trashtalking to happen).

In M+, we have more people talking and calling out stuff and also just joking in between harder pulls.

It’s overall just more talkative in my experience.

m+ will be much more deevaluated by dvelves which are much much easier and offer much better rewards then any keys below +5 or +6 .

its much better to just faceroll 8 dvelves on alts collect 4 - 5 38 champions and 616 hero gear from vault then bother with m+ this season with how overtuned they are .

Considering we faceroll M0’s now (indeed with the help of last weeks delves-loot), and +10 is ‘only’ +136% modifier, i wonder how fast we will smash those +10’s and get juicy myth track gear :slight_smile:

we will start to see a lot of depleted keys already around +4 / +5 due to just missing the timer.

Yes. That is because they keep mass pulling like it is a normal leveling dungeon instead of pulling 1 pack at a time.

Yes because they wipe so often because of mass puling. The timers have been for quite some seasons completely free when you just normaly do the dungeon. Instead of copying MDI.

yes correct . they have to though to get into timer in a lot of cases.

what i already noticed - ST > Aoe atm because bosses are brutal for healers . especialy with small pulls . because thre is a lot of deadly mechanicso n trash too.

The timers have been completely free for some seasons now. When you do not make the timer it means you wiped (by masspulling) and had to run back.

I do not PvP, but I would rather do PvP for gear that I could use in M+ than Mythic raiding. I guess you don’t understand the point I try to make

It is not if you play with the guild, every week your chances of getting the item you want will only grow (since other people already will have it). You also said that raid is the main content of the game? Said who? You? For you raid is the main contnet? For MANY it’s M+, for others its PvP, etc

So what you are saying is that everyone stops playing once they finish gearing/get kan/whatever it is they are after? Because i can tell you no one in my group of players does that.

PvP gear isn’t good in PvE… its mystic level in PvP though.

Elias himself stops playing after beating LFR since he then has ‘finished the game’. And he is projecting that idea on everyone else.

Yeah, they should divorce Raid and M+ gear just like they did with PvP. That was my point :slight_smile:

Stop trolling, Mythic+ is for those that wanna push limits, mythic raiding just takes to much time and freedom away.

I dont mind that Myth raiders have some ilvl boost for what they do. Because in the end its just that Myth raiders get their stuff sooner than M+.

My issue is that the way M+ gets their myth level track is through the vault, which has a heavy RNG component.

And while raid loot distribution is not sunshine and rainbows either, its less RNG that the vault.

And that bums me.

What also bums me are OP items ONLY found in the raid. Like the +mana to the healer necklace that drops in the raid. There should be an M+ equivalent.

Given how bad my loot in the raid has been, I don’t think the raid is superior to m+ at all for gearing :stuck_out_tongue:

100 ilevels more is meaningless if it never drops, while the key can be repeated until it does.

Its different… dungeon or raid its both PvE… You do understand the difference in PvP to PvE right.
