Give Void Elves pink/white skin option

Satisfy the High Elf community with this simple addition.

How come Alleria, the representative of the Void Elves, gets to keep her normal skin colour, but Void Elves can’t?

Just make their skin purple when their 5% damage increase buff procs, and give them tatoos that are different from the Blood Elves.

Alliance players deserve to play and represent one of the most iconic races of their faction. Please don’t forget about us. :frowning:

Sometimes I miss the down vote button

There are already two threads about high elves on the front page, no need for a new one:

I’m sorry but no one is holding a gun at your head to make a comment on every similar thread that pops up.

I simply wanted to make a thread of my own which isn’t drowned in +100 comments that no one cares to read.

Of this would stop this endlessly appearing “we want highelves” threads they should do it.

Bit it won’t. They are just going to whine more.

But yeah, Blizz should do that.

Most iconic? Maybe donkey years ago. What have the high elves been doing in the meanwhile? Chilling in Dalaran and their backwater lodges. They’ve made no committed military effort towards the alliance in terms of personnel or resources since the period of the Third War. They are hardly an “iconic” member of the alliance. Maybe once upon a time, but not anymore.

Gnomes, Draenei, Worgen, hell, even Tushui Pandaren have been doing more for the Alliance in recent expos than High Elves have. Vareesa and Alleria - two individuals do not count as “High Elf” contributions in terms of their race, in the same way that interacting with an Ogre questgiver in Dustwallow is no sign that the Ogres are an active part of the Horde.

Also, Alleria did not transform in the same way as the Void Elves we play as did. She technically isn’t even a Void Elf, she’s a High Elf who has absorbed and can utilise the Void. The playable Void Elves have been transformed. That’s why she looks different.

And if the next question is “then why couldn’t void elves simply be high elves with void powers then?” because I can’t imagine a lazy reskin of belf with random shadow powers when it suits would satisfy elf haters (whom would claim lazy reskin and oversaturation) or helf fans (because wielding void was never part of their lore) so the only people you’d satisfy are those who claim they are high elf fans, but in truth it’s not so much about playing a “high elf” as opposed to playing a “traditional, pretty elf” that is on the good guys side. And Lore be damned and butchered in order to achieve this as far as this group is concerned.

Just report for spam and move on.

Lol! These forum posters are so quick to disagree with a heartbeat.
Just go horde and troll the alliance till death. Also, ask Devs to rebuilt or remake silver moon as the capital city for the horde. So, alliance can become more jealous that puts even the seven deadly sins: envy to shame.

You do not. It was abused and not fun.

Starting in TBC, where they were just hanging in Allerian Stronghold.
Wotlk they represented the Alliance.
Cata did not have much elven involvement, aside from Mass murder of Kaldorei by a certain somebody.
In MoP they represented the Alliance.
In WoD, they mostly represented Kirin Tor.
In Legion they represented the Alliance at Suramar.
In BfA they can be seen here and there, representing the Alliance. Of course, thanks to the Void elves, they weren’t as visible.

I don’t care about the “normal skin” in itself…
I care that the lore of the Void Elves don’t make sense.

Void Elves are few in number and would need to recruit more members.
But studying the Void in itself does not change your skin tone, Alleria proves this to be true.
The only reason Void Elves are blue is because Nether-Prince Durzaan forcibly changed them in his attempt to turn them completely into beings of the Void.
The studies in itself does not change anyone, Alleria had Void powers before eating that Naaru as well, after studying under Locus-Walker.

So I would want either:

Scenario A:

1st Generation Void Elves are the ones that followed Umbric to the Telogrus Rift and were changed by Nether-Prince Durzaan.
Void Elves recruit new members, teach them the way of the Void. These guys become the 2nd Generation, and since Durzaan is dead and there’s no reason to change anyone now and we don’t even know if that knowledge is lost.
The 2nd Generation of Void Elves would look normal skinned, but with the same eye color void elves currently have to reflect the Void energies they’ve been exposed to during their studies, by spending time in the Rift.

Similar to how Blood Elves got green eyes by exposure to fel energies.

Then Void Elves would get to select 1 or 2 normal skin colors when they create their character.

OR

Scenario B

Which I’ve explained in another thread

Then Alleria would be changed to a proper Void Elf.

I don’t care which… I just want this plot hole to be plugged…

clearly you have no idea what the high elf community wants.
if the thread with thousand of replies did not state it clearly enough lemme rephrse it:
WE DO NOT WANT RECOLORED VOID ELVES, WE WANT HIGH ELVES.
and there is a thread for this, so people is right for reporting you for spam.

You may disagree, but if I say that I miss it, then I miss it.

False.
The Night Elves are the ones that represented the Alliance in Suramar.
The High Elves just happened to come as well so we’d have an all Elf moment with Elisande, but in no way they were the majority of the Alliance there, just a small group.

True!

Yeah, riiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiiight, just “happened to be there”, huh? Just wandered about and decided to join the party, did they? And they just happened to be at the opposite end of the Sin’dorei by sheer luck, is that what you’re trying to tell me?

Well, the answer to all those questions is obviously “NO!”, but please, do keep repeating it and someday you may believe yourself.

What, are you okay? You seem tense.
Just because the High Elves were also there doesn’t mean they were the ones representing the Alliance at all.
The Night Elves were the ones representing the Alliance in Suramar, sorry.

I’m gonna come in here and say they were both present and represented the Alliance  :peace_symbol: :dove:
But the majority were Night Elves of course.

Thanks. As I tried to point out, the Night Elves were the main Alliance focus, in big number. They were the Alliance protagonists there, with Tyrande leading them.

High Elf zealots will rush to come up with something to refute this, though.

High elves are still in the alliance, that’s nice to know, its just a matter of time than till they do become playable :beers:
