You don’t get it. They want unfair racial advantages and granted wins in bgs and instant queues and be dominant in wpvp. Otherwise they cry.
100% agree
Actually, there would be 5 man “premades” on both sides. And that could result in interesting battles.
Do we even need premade teams in Classic?
Yes we do need premade teams in Classic…what kind of a question is this
and no fixing on the bugs (like the biggest 1 backdoor bug) on horde side but fixing alliance ability to premade you forgot about that
Would be nice if Blizz gets rid of x-realm bgs and offers the dominant faction on each server free faction change to balance out the horde:ally ratio. (I have lvl 60 chars on both factions / different servers)
Better wpvp for ally and shorter BG queues for horde. (generally speaking for most realms which are in fact horde dominant)
But thats just my 2 cents.
See you claim to know how Vanilla felt, but this is the opposite of how Vanilla felt. People cared back then. This comment of yours is the comment of someone who has seen it all before and doesn’t care anymore. Been there, done that. At the time in Vanilla Molten Core was the best thing since sliced bread, and everybody wanted a slice.
That ‘true spirit of Vanilla wow’ you are missing is something you can never experience again because Classic is not Vanilla, it’s Vanilla 2.0 and that will never feel the same. Real Vanilla was 15 years ago and Blizzard have not invented time travel. You can’t go back and feel the same.
Spoken like a true casual. But this is so subjective and you should be aware of that. When you don’t understand why people are striving for something, it doesn’t mean they shouldn’t be or that you are right not to and they are wrong to do so.
You can comment as a casual on how casual everything is, but be aware that it’s because you’re a casual gamer that you do so.
The things many people are saying shouldn’t be in Classic because they weren’t in Vanilla are actually things that were in Vanilla but those people didn’t play that way. Too many people got that ‘I did it this way so this is it how it was’ thing going on. Living in a bubble.
Very nicely worded.
Just to add.
For people saying min-maxing wasnt such a big deal back in Vanilla and people were more casual. This was the case because noone knew how to play compared to todays standards.
Denying and limiting the edge from min-max style playing would be wrong.
Blizz would have to change the game mechanics to protect casuals, but this would end up being totally different game.
Premade dont want to fight premades. So what is the point of having them? They dont want to challenged PvP where they could show their skill. They want to farm PUGs. Exactly the opposite of a challenge.
But it does seem everyone here only meets premades. Premades meet eachother all the time aswell. Thats how it is right now and how it should be.
I read, that they “spy” and avoid each other. Im not sure though.
In answer to your question about when would every casual and semi-casual player eventually quit the game, the answer is about the same time they would on vanilla as things were exactly the same like now in the aspects that you’re complaining. You would probably know that had you played it back then rather than coming from retail thinking this would be a walk in the park.
There is a place for the players that want to casually play a few hours per week the same way there always was back in 05. You wrote play, not pvp. Should I fix it for you?
In regards to AV you may be right pre 1.12 and because premades in AV weren’t a thing, the long queues however were already there pre 1.12. In regards to WSG trust me, pugs would get stomped by premades all the time since the day WSG was launched, and the crying was the same back then, so this isn’t new.
Crybabies are used to playing Retail where they never meet any premades and massively overgeared people.
Getting stomped by premades non-stop was a thing back in 2005 aswell. Not so many premades like right now, but still alot to meet them multible games in a row.
Precisely.
