I mean the graphics are already an improvement from real Vanilla, since real Vanilla is around graphics quality 3 in Classic. I don’t see why they couldn’t do ‘retail models/graphics’ for classic or TBC as an option. Checkbox to switch to newer graphics and or models and leave the rest alone.

They tried that in retail and it didn’t work. The old models were a toggle option and then they were removed.

‘tried that and didn’t work’ doesn’t really work out considering it was an option wasn’t it that they randomly decided to stop supporting.

They didn’t randomly decide to stop supporting it, they stop supporting it because it kept bugging out and didn’t work. So they just removed it instead.
