Who the hell is voting for S3?? It’s a “fun” idea but badly implementad. Having to deliberately take damage to get the best out of the set has got to be the dumbest thing someone thought would be good to give to a tank!
Having the S2 set with other tanks being able to choose their best set will hopefully balance things out so we don’t end up dominating again would be nice. If not, I can see some tuning happening.
This is the last sentence of the original blue announcement, made me chuckle…
“Please keep in mind that we’re going to update the power of the set bonuses to match the increased power of the new gear in Season 4, so any bonuses you choose will be tuned to be as strong as any others.”

Everyone getting their best set bonuses will only be enjoyable if they tune them enough so that we do have some semblance of balance, it’s gonna go one of two ways xD
Wouldn’t they have attempted this going into S3 though? If S3 tier was tuned higher because of the new power level of gear (which is how it’s worded in the blue post you refer to), why did most of us wait until we had 4-piece on at least hero gear before swapping out our S2?..
set 3 is the strongest!! people are choosing set2 only because they don’t know how to read and remember that in season2 the druid was first (but not 100% thanks to the set), those who don’t know how to exploit set3 are because they don’t know how to exploit rage as it has 25% damage reflex is super strong
There is only one issue with season 3 tier set. But you can fix easily.
When shield expires it should to the remaining shield as dmg split among all targets in 8 yards range.
I hated season 3 tier set at first, but the more i play with s3 tier set it feels amazing.
When Blizzard is tuning all 3 tier sets, s2 will be nerfed hard, because it is just too powerful.
