At long last, the winding road had brought the caravan close to their destination. Passing into Hyjal by road, and climbing the once-wartorn lower tiers of Hyjal, they took in the sights of this holiest of places.

The Shrine of Goldrinn would serve as their shelter, until the final of their challenges was complete, and the favour of the Wolf Spirit secured.

How is climbing that mountain going for you? If anyone slips and falls, be sure to bring them to The Hand of Agony to be risen as Forsaken free of charge.

Popped away from our main HQ to orgrimmar to order some goods and wow, it’s pretty quiet now. I think it’s wonderful that you’re embracing and encouraging rp across the world and making use of all of the beauty Azeroth has to offer. \o/

You’re essentially allowed to come and go as you please; the post here is just as a reference and guide for people who might be interested in coming. There’s no sign-up list or anything like that!

Edit: Went ahead and cleaned up the main post a little, it was getting fairly bulky.

One journey down, the adventurers finally made their next stop one on distant shores. They’d secured transport and said farewell to some travellers, greeting others at their destination.

They would now be working from Tian Monastery in the Jade Forest , dealing with the persistent and increasingly dangerous threat of the Mogu General Bo.

That concludes our very first and, I’d say very successful part of the Roaming Hub journey!

Next up, we’ll be experimenting a little bit with the map and Noticeboard as part of our time in Jade Forest. The way it works can be found in the first post - hopefully Pandaria will mean many new adventures!

Darrotan always trailed behind them, ever since Felwood where he had heard of this band of wanderers. It was a conscious decision, and not one forced by his weary and old bones. After all, having spent most of his life as an outcast he had learned to prefer the time spent alone over that with companions.

He thought their quest a futile plight. They were beyond redemption now in the eyes of the gods, spirits and elements, as he himself was and had been for years. This "blessing" would change nothing, the young members of the new Horde were doomed by their own sins as their forefathers were.

.. Yet still, the old hermit trailed behind them. Perhaps he had hope in these young warriors still. Perhaps they could still redeem themselves. These thoughts however, he would never admit to.

Wished I could’ve been around more for this chain of events, seems great!

The mogu camp proved a minor challenge at best. A well-laid trap shattered the morale of General Bo’s forces, and before long this minor outpost had been reclaimed.

That brought little cause for celebration, however. Investigating the camp revealed something much more worrying than Anima rituals. General Bo’s forces had discovered Azerite - and they found among the broken bodies some token flakes of it.

The completion of mission 3 unlocks a new mission, as well!

3 - Hiding in The Reeds

Learning that Bo’s officers are hoarding Azerite makes for an all the more compelling reason to uncover the truth behind strange rumours surrounding the densely forrested lowlands below the Tian Monastery bridge. Mogu highwaymen appear to have taken up the task of inspecting any person unfortunate enough to wander this way - before murdering them. Bring these scum to justice!

And finally, map update!

With the close of one location comes the arrival to another - tonight begins our adventures in SURAMAR!

Though the hunt for General Bo did not prove successful, the travelling companions did manage to carve a large chunk out of his forces. More importantly, they had a better understanding of his motives and plans. No doubt he would be encountered on the open ocean someday, in pursuit of more Azerite.

Travelling under the cover of night, the group now sailed to Suramar , where they would be aiding their newest allies from Meredil , and helping rebuild the once-great Empire to a spark of it’s former glory.

New stop also means new map and points of interest - as always, our host in a given zone may well also have things for you to do, so feel free to show up, even if you aren’t interested in the events that people snag off the noticeboard!

Map and Noticeboard/Points of Interest

1 - Withered Woes

Unfortunate as it may be, many of the withered on the outskirts of Suramar have proven too feral to try and reintegrate. They now linger on the outskirts of the Empire, and their hovels often prove popular sites for illicit trade. A particularly large cache of stolen goods from Suramar City is making it’s way through!

2 - Felsoul Creepers

The relative recent peace as Suramar’s focus turned inwards means the demon remants of Felsoul Hold have gotten brave again. Under the guidance of the Fel Lord Krath’azz, a demonic scouting party has taken refuge on the hills overlooking their once-proud fortress. Snuff them out!

3 - Masquerading as Mad

The eternal masquerade of this particular estate in Suramar City has lent itself well for matters not entirely above board to bubble to the surface. There’s even rumours that demons or - Arcane forbid it - Alliance - are hiding among the attendants.

4 - Turning Quite Crimson

An absolutely flustered merchant recently returned from what was promised to be a quiet evening market hosted in the capital. The event proved to be nothing quite so pleasant, however. Halfway through the market, several low-society bandits from Suramar City rushed through the stalls, stealing all they could. Now reports have surfaced that they are hiding in the ruined buildings near Crimson Thicket.

5 - Arcane Vintage

Being a vintner in Suramar is a highly esteemed and prestigious position - even after Elisande’s Fall and the Arcan’dor’s revival. Now, however, rumours have surfaced of one particular vintner taking to cutting their own produce with fel magic, to poison the population. Find the source, and bring them to justice.

6 - A Strange Cache

Honestly, who ever thought hiding your contraband among storm dragons was a good idea? Whoever stowed several crates worth of familial heirlooms and trinkets in here certainly thought so - and their charred remains from when they last tried to retrieve them serves as a reminder of how foolish this idea had been. Either sneak, or fight your way to the cache!
