Well there is one way we can solve that, time to have a dive in the Sunwell xd. From there you can start embracing the Void! It isn’t that bad, trust me.

They aren’t necessarily compatible.
And if they were, they would probably look like very hairy humans with animalistic features OR like the one race that has the more dominant genes (Garrona looks like an Orc).

What’s the big deal here? Warcraft is full of weird looking races.

Not necessarily.
Elves and Trolls for example are all related.
Gnomes, Dwarves, Humans and Vrykul have all the same origin.
Same with Orcs, Gronns and Ogres.
Also don’t forget that Blizzard’s most well known crossbreeds are all from races that make little sense when combined.

Garrona for example is half Draenei and half Orc. Both races are from completely different planets.

CUUUUUUTE <3
We need to fund this!

This must constitute a warcrime……

You completely missed my point I didn’t say that interbreeding is impossible I’m questioning if it is actually necessary/good for them.

Races could spawn some half-breed abominations but that is not necessary for their existance, quite the opposite. Their existance alone is a threat for their lives as neither group would grow to accept them.

Nelves and trolls might be related but they despise each other trolls wouldn’t want to be related with them let alone mate with them and same goes to nelves.

For helves - I would be surprised if they’d even survive this kind of “encounter” with troll.

As for Garona - she was the result of magic. So she isn’t typical halfbreed.

Fair enough I guess.
I agree that it is probably bad for them, but from a story perspective crossbreeds can be very interesting.

As for attraction and racism:
Again: This completely depends on the individual person. Most Trolls might despise / be indifferent to Night Elves, a few might be attracted to them.
There is no collective thinking within a race.

There’s also that Goblin-Gnome couple from BtS…was it ever stated that they couldn’t have children, or just they didn’t want them? But pretty much in this fantasy universe can actually become half-breed (even from a biology of different planets!), but some combinations are just ridicolous and won’t ever happen.

Even the half-breeds of two races that are considered beautiful like Humans and High Elves are actually very ugly because their mixed traits don’t match at all.

This abomination will make Overlord Geya’rah start the counter purge crusade.

Such a union was never tried, as far as I know, but I don’t see why it wouldn’t be possible. After all, high elves are descended from Kaldorei.

That’s it, time to eridicate the gnomes and to make it fair and balanced the other short race who are just greedy bad engineers who’s inventions just backfire aswell. Wimbert, you’re the one who forced my hand!

Generally people don’t accept such lore. There few cases like ogre and orc, human and night elves, garona, Medan etc.

I have no problems with half-breeds in a fantasy setting. It gives lee-way to more out of the norm character design. We all like to harp up on Me’dan for good reason, but nobody bats an eye at Rexxar. It’s all in the execution of the character.

I would watch your mouth troll, you’re running out of city’s for us to burn and Kings to kill. You’re down to what some paltry islands of the coast of Orc “we must build a city in the desert to atone for our sins” land, 2 leaders (Talanji and Rokhan) and a walking talking meme that is zappy “sidekick shaman” boi.

The female in that relationship better be Draenei or that labour is gonna need A’dal himself to help that be succesful :stuck_out_tongue:

Ermm…have you seen Arator,he looks almost 90% like his mother and pretty much like a High Elf.

In 40k(best universe) Eldar look very attractive to humans.
To Eldar humans look like how monkey’s look to us.

Any “relationship” would be considered the same.
The eldar would be accused of beastalitlity.

Warcraft the only elves i know of that have relationship with the self insert human heroes are the winrunner sisters.
I simply asumed they where into beastalility.

Personal i dont think different spieces shoud be able to cross breed.
To messy.
That said wow is known to change it owns rules whenever it feels like it.
So cross breeding is entirely possible today and tommorow it isnt.

In the elder scroll’s the child will always be of the mother’s spieces.

So in short.
We dont have any hard rules in place about cross breeding because blizzard hate rules.

It ties up there hands because working within limets is beyond there ability.
