Headcanon 2: Electric Boogaloo

they aren’t pressent in the dungeon, however Broxigar is in the Ravencrest flashback.

This is correct, or well implied at least. With for example the death of hakkar, that rhonin killed him in WotA and also at Dalaran. granted demons are immortal now. So maybe not.

Then it’s also that time travel in WoW uses branching tineline, meaning that it’d be a branching timeline the moment they traveled back, as there would always be a unaltered timeline where they originate from. Think of it as you travel back and shot your dad, your dad is dead and this timeline doesn’t have you, but your main timeline you where borne into.

If it went by the single timeline, a lot closer to terminator. then there is no AU and can be addled with by time travel.

Broxigaar shows up in the Illidan flashback in Legion at Blackrook Hold, so I’m pretty sure that’s the main timeline for Azeroth. Fairly certain Krasus is flying above the Well of Eternity in that dungeon as well.

Krasus is at least, he’s flying over head when you go down to fight whatsit at the well.

its a cameo, but I’m not sure if Rhonin is riding on his back or not.

AU where they face extinction if they don’t invade vs. MU who are fighting off invaders from other timelines and also facing extinction.

What a grey conflict that might be, morally.

Oh also. Yogg sarons mind! in it Nozdurmu is present. However in the novel he is not present for the dragon soul!

Damn this idea of alien invaders facing extinction if they don’t invade us and us having to fight them off to avoid extinction by their hand is a really cool plot line, wish we could see more of that.

Do you know where I might see that story line played out?

I like to imagine the timeline shifts all over the place because of Nozdormu moving about. Depending on which day of the week you flashback, he’s either there or isn’t.

My fanfiction account.

Don’t think so, though dragon form krasus would still be the original one. Timey whimey krasus was unable to morph.

You should call it something catchy. . . . . . . like Tides of Darkness . . . .

While I know this, doesn’t mean Blizzard remembers.

and as for;

I know he’s up there because i have often remarked on it.

Now the thing is whether he’s the past one or the present one.

The same could go for yoggsarons mind aswell.

Or they might forget that the WotA was a AU and thus we got broxigar in illidans flashback, or Xera is just pure evil in the shape of a crystalline entity.

I think Blizzard forgetting is the most likely answer.

More than likely.

Blizzard kinda forgot about the time travel rules? Probably so. Like we got the infinite dragonflight, with a branching timeline there will always be a unaltered timeline so their efforts are futile. (or did they use weird magic or something?)

Infinite works better with a one timeline. just like terminator.

not as far as I know + There is no mention of Rhonin in the Illidan questline, while he the was leader of the Moon Guard and taught Illidan how to use magic without the Well… So he was pretty important in Illidan’s story!

Huln was added in later, but as a addition to the WoTA not a retcon, or downgrade like the three aforementioned characters!

Yea and Dragon-Krasus was unable to transform into Elf-form D:

They never had those. They tried making some rules in the chronicle but by then it was too late.

I never did understand how we can have a literal Titan of Time… But it ain’t important enough to be its own branch of magics :frowning:

How can it be that the Bronze are better at Time-magic then the Blue’s when the Blue’s whole existence is magic?

Sounds to me like the Bronze are a sub-faction/category of the Blue’s!

Blues are the jack of all trades
Bronzes are the master of one
